Against the Draugr King (Tales of the Valiant)

About the adventure

Daudvor is an ancient being, the remains of a mighty warrior and king from the cold northern lands. When he died, he was placed in a barrow with all his goods . . . and many of his retinue were slaughtered and interred in the tomb with him. A hideously evil and cruel man in life, Daudvor rose, trapped in the Barrow, as a powerful undead, known in his home region as a Draugr. Unable to escape his tomb, he watched the lands nearby through his fylgiur, or spirit animal, a fiendish raven, whose senses conveyed all to its master. Daudvor fumed, becoming ever more wrathful, as other kings claimed his lands, as people not subject to him sealed and grew their towns and villages. But nothing evil remains trapped forever. Tomb robbers recently broke into his barrow, stealing all the grave goods, awakening him from a fitful slumber. Now he rampages across the countryside, an army of undead at his back. He will take back what is his, all of it, and cleanse his land of the intruders: all that lives. Can the heroes stop him before all is lost?
