About the adventure
Eberron is recovering from a hundred-year war. 12 ruling families hold all of the wealth and power, but they don't intend to share it. The Kings of the Lightning Train, House Orien, have ruled land travel for generations, but the up and coming House Lyrandar has invented the first airship. House Orien intends to capitalize on Lyrandar's innovation, and take it for themselves. You will play as a member of a crew hired to steal a prototype airship from Aundair, House Lyrandar's stronghold. An illusionist wizard, a monk with lycanthropy running through their veins, a former member of House Lyrandar cut off for failing to uphold their good name, and a Warforged designed for killing.

About me
Hello! My name is Trevor Chandler and I love gaming and storytelling. I have been a nerd for 31 years, and I will continue to be one until I become one with the Force(Force Ghost training pending). Gaming is something I truly love to do, and it's something I've come to find I'm quite good at. I am here to make my hobby into a career, and bring TTRPGs to whoever wants to play. I started playing D&D in 2018 and fell in love immediately. I've always loved the Fantasy genre, board games, and I'm a theater kid, so D&D was right up my ally. In 2019, I was dying to play the game but didn't have access to a DM. I decided to take up the mantle because it was my only way to be a part of the TTRPG world at the time. I've been DMing almost exclusively ever since. I've typically run modules as a DM, but we stray very far away from the written framework. My campaign with my current party is my longest campaign yet at 25 sessions. I've learned so much from being able to participate in this long-term campaign and it's something I look forward to doing every week. I've been incredibly fortunate now doing two professional events in the last year. I got to be a part of the Bricks and Minifigs World Record for most D&D players in a session at the same time. I got to DM a group of 6 for that one-shot and had a blast. That led to me DMing at the Brickslopes Denver convention in 2025, and it was awesome.

Creating your character
I'll have pre-made characters ready to go. I'll send out the character sheets and you can choose your characters! If you have the books for reference, Eberron: Rising from the Last War, and Eberron: Forge of the Artificer will be helpful! If you prefer, I don't mind sending pictures of species, background, class, etc.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Discord is cool for the group chat, but startplaying works fine too! Let's use Roll20, it's free to make an account!
What Trevor brings to the table
I will have maps made up for the one-shot, character sheets, music and sounds, and character voices! I truly love the Rule of Cool as long as it doesn't break the game. This is a heist mission, the plan is to get in and get out. If we're able to be stealthy and careful, their should be very little combat...should we be discovered, we might run into some "obstacles."

How Trevor creates a safe table
Besides describing some violent combat, I'm pretty light on the heavy themes. I want a fun pulpy heist adventure, so I won't be bringing anything heavy at all. If you have lines and veils please send them to me and I'll make sure to avoid any topics you aren't comfortable with.
