About the adventure
You hear the legend of Mystra's Eye, and must follow the clues to try and find this sacred artifact. Through the various religions and lore, you must uncover the secrets and the tools needed to stop what ever evil is driving the unearthing of ancient artifacts. These artifacts, from the creation of time, are too powerful for mere mortals to control and too important to allow them to slip into the hands of evil.

About me
I have developed a love for TTRPG about 9 years ago and want everyone to know the enjoyment that this type of game provides. I am not a rules as written person but enjoy the rule of cool, so that my players can get the most out of every game. I believe that the characters, their backstories, and their intended goals should drive any story. I encourage the players at my table to develop a detailed backstory that I can build off of to develop the story. The inclusion of the players and their ideas is what makes the game enjoyable and brings people back. That is what I look forward to when I play TTRPG's as a player or a DM My Table is an LGBTQIA+ safe environment and open to everyone. Meeting new people and learning about their interests and beliefs the main reason I wanted to expand my perspective.

Creating your character
Character creation will begin during Session 0 where all discussions about any limitations that may be imposed will be discussed. I am pretty open about character creation. We will roll for stats during session 0 and discuss appropriate content and conduct then.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Games will be run through DnDbeyond. I prefer to use discord with camera and mic to keep visual and verbal cues in sync.
What Blayne of Blades brings to the table
I will bring horribly inconsistent bad accents and pathetic attempts at voices for my players to laugh at, as we negotiate with rules to find the best rule of cool to proceed with. I will utilize DnD beyond for maps to develop tactical strategies and will try to customize items and spells to inspire cooperative combat styles. I will keep the roleplay options open and encourage the trials and tribulations of the characters to assist in the building of bonds in the party.
Homebrew rules
Have you ever rolled a nat 20 on an attack role, just to roll snake eyes on the attack? That will not happen in my games. If you are attacking with a weapon that has a D8 as damage dice, on a nat 20 your damage will start off with 8+your roll+any modifiers. Let's make Nat 20's mean something. Drawing another weapon is a extra thing done in combat and not a bonus action, action or reaction. I am not here to make your game overly complicated. Even though some of the greatest things done by players is making the DM's job complicated. That's is my challenge and fun. Other homebrew suggestions and rules that will be considered in my games can be discussed during session 0

How Blayne of Blades creates a safe table
I will give out a Lines and Veils document. Session 0 we will discuss Lines and Veils where I will use this to create a shared document that will outline acceptable content, behaviours, and general guidelines. This document can be continually maintained by general consensus of the group. My intent is to create a safe place for everyone, regardless of race, religion, orientation or anything else that a person may use to identify their uniqueness.
