About the adventure
Lucy Rhinemeyer, a tech mogul's daughter, is the seventh woman kidnapped from Night City University in the past month. And now the police have the funding to do something about it - hire you. Night at the Opera is a Cyberpunk RED one-shot with investigation elements, but plays more like an action movie. The police have done the legwork, determining the Philharmonic Vampire gang are responsible*, and need you to infiltrate them and extract the missing woman. Or take a bullet trying. *Eye witnesses reported the kidnapper dressed like Dracula. While physical evidence says they were jumping between rooftops.

About me
Hi👋, I'm Franc, better known as Golvin. I'd like to be your GM. While I mainly run D&D, Call of Cthulhu, and Alien RPG, my real pleasure is trying new modules and systems. (Cowboy Bebop RPG anyone?) Which has led me to a specialization in running one-shots, often including highly detailed handouts, pre-made characters, and other player aids. I also write the Reviews from the Far Reams Substack newsletter, currently focused on helping others get the most out of Call of Cthulhu 7e modules.

Creating your character
Players can create their own character, choose one of five pre-made characters, or reflavor a pre-made character. Pre-mades include fleshed out backstories and are integrated into Roll20 for ease of use. (Tokens, macros, etc.) Character Creation Restrictions: - Officially published content. (CRB, Black Chrome, etc.) - None on point distribution. Content is provided through Roll20. If you'd like help with character creation, I can appear half an hour early.

How Golvin - One-Shot GM creates a safe table
As part of onboarding for the game, I send players my Line & Veils and ask for theirs in return. Which are then confirmed at the beginning of the session as part of a mini-session 0. During the game, if anything disturbs you, please tell me, leave an "X" in the chat, or privately message me. I will then remove the offending or skip past it. Likewise, if you feel the adventure is going in an unsavory direction but use an "N" instead. I will also check in if I notice anything is off.
