About the adventure
On the distant agricultural world of Avalos, the Inquisition of the Imperium of Man has uncovered a sinister alien conspiracy. Only the mighty Space Marines of the Deathwatch can save Avalos from complete destruction at the hands of the Tyranid scourge. Do you have what it takes to be one of the Emperor's angels of death? Do you Know No Fear? Final Sanction is an introductory adventure for Deathwatch, a game where players play Space Marines in the Warhammer 40K universe. It uses a simplified version of Deathwatch's rules to quickly teach players the rules and get them into the action. This will be a single one-shot against the Emperor's foes. Pre-generated characters are provided, so it's perfect for those who wish to learn the game.

Hello, I'm Caestus. I've been playing roleplaying games ever since I was old enough to do so. I 've played or run 100 different rpgs. I'm a big fan of science fiction and fantasy. I've been running games for friends and family for years. While I feel that telling a good story is a key part of being a good gamemaster, more important than the story is making sure all the players at the table have a good time; I consider that the chief duty of any gamemaster. Creating your character
Final Sanction has four pre-generated characters to pick from, which players will pick when we begin. There's no need for any character creation.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Players will need roll20 and discord accounts. They will need a mic, but not a camera. Since characters are pre-generated and Final Sanction serves as an introduction to the rules, no other preparation is necessary, although some familiarity with the world of Warhammer 40K could be helpful but isn't necessary.
What Caestus brings to the table
I'll bring an understanding of the rules and a roll20 packed with maps, enemies, music and even sound effects. It will enable effective tactical combat, which will be a major focus, along with trying to convey the feel of the Warhammer 40K universe.
