About the adventure

Three days. One box. Your mind unravelling. In this mystery‑horror game, you are caught in an extraordinary situation: a simple courier job that spirals into paranoia and inexplicable dread. Neighbours behave strangely. Loved ones turn distant or obsessive. And something unseen begins to press in, or it is all in your mind? This game is for players who love creeping tension, moral ambiguity, and stories where the horror isn’t just in the shadows—it’s in the choices you make under pressure. Themes of trust, secrecy, and psychological unraveling sit at the heart of play. Gameplay is character‑driven, and best enjoyed with a group who likes to sink into atmosphere. You won’t be fighting monsters or solving puzzles with clean answers. Instead, you’ll be piecing together fragments of truth, managing rising tension, and deciding how far you’re willing to go to protect something you don’t understand. If you enjoy slow‑burn mysteries, unsettling supernatural undertones, and stories where survival depends on who you trust and what you’re willing to believe, this game is for you. Three days isn’t long… unless something is watching every second.

About me

I am a tough but fair GM. When you are victorious you know you have earned it. A fantasy & horror fanatic with a flair for rolling with the shenanigans! I GM/Keep at Elder Gods and Dragons, a TTRPG bar in Melbourne. I am also history nerd which helps me round out the world's of DnD's Curse of Strahd and my own DnD take of Greece Mythology with "Tales of the Windrose" (a sky pirates campaign). It also helps my 1920's based Call of Cthulhu games as well!

Character creation

Creating your character

We will go through it step by step in a session 0 together. These will be the character's first time acting as a crew. You can look at the source book, Blades in the Dark, if you are keen to get a feel for what class you are learning towards.

What to expect

Preparing for the session

You will need discord and a roll20 account.

What Sasa brings to the table

I will provide everyone with character sheets and the group sheet. have the different voices for characters ready and there will be atmospheric music if the group would like to play with it on. Rule of cool is allowed but not to be abused. Blades is not a kind system, but we find laughter and fun in amongst the serious.

Safety

How Sasa creates a safe table

In session 0 we will go over what I as a GM won't be describing, and I will ask you to either say or privately message me any themes you don't want me to go over. We will make an X card and I will check in each session if you have your x cards. I am always open to feedback and if you need to personally message me after the game about topics, I am happy to take those into consideration and act upon it.
