About the adventure
England, 10th century. Magic in this age is not orderly or contained. It lives in the land, in the bloodlines of old families, in half-remembered rites and dangerous traditions passed down by those who survived them. There are no great schools, no shared understanding of what magic should be. When it goes wrong, the consequences are often local, brutal, and enduring. In recent years, those consequences have begun to stir. Across the countryside, unsettling reports spread from village to village. Creatures unlike any known magical beast have been sighted in ruins, forests, and long-abandoned places. They are violent, persistent, and unnervingly deliberate. Crops are destroyed. Travelers disappear. Entire settlements are left shaken. Whatever these things are, they do not belong to the natural order. It is Wulfric Wyveris who first begins to gather those capable of confronting the threat. Once a formidable wizard in his own right, Wulfric is now an aging figure, respected for his past deeds and deep knowledge of old magic. Where others hesitate or argue, he acts. He believes these creatures must be hunted down and destroyed before they spread further, and that such work requires strength, resolve, and hands younger than his own. As the work continues, the land reveals more than it first seemed willing to show. The creatures are not isolated incidents. They follow patterns. They appear in places steeped in forgotten magic, bound to histories that have not fully faded. Each victory answers one question and raises another, drawing those involved deeper into a legacy that refuses to stay buried. The Unfinished Works of Wulfric Wyveris is a story set in a harsh, early wizarding world where magic leaves lasting marks and the past exerts a heavy pull. It is a tale of old legends, present dangers, and the uneasy task of finishing what history left behind.

About me
I was pulled into the world of TTRPGs in 2018 and have been hooked ever since. I started out as a player and have dabbled in being the GM on a few occasions, for my friends. I love writing and creating stories, and after some very heavy encouragement from my little group of pals, I've decided to share my story with the world. I am Neurodivergent (Autistic), LGBT, Gender Diverse, and POC. I am very very accepting to people of all walks of life. I offer respect to anyone who will freely give it in return. I try my best to create an accepting environment for everyone as much as possible.

Creating your character
We will be using the Wands & Wizards Rulebook in tandem with my own Homebrew rulebook linked here: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1BY7U9mYLQD_p9O9e42AYLHG2Xr6ZCsR8Ye07MaGXfVw/edit?tab=t.0#heading=h.frfwms2htyde The setting of this game begins in the fall of 1966. You have just recieved your school acceptance letter and are a bright eyed and bushy tailed 11 year old ready to start the challenge of becomming a talented Witch or Wizard. We will workshop together to create a dynamic character with their own personality, quirks, likes, dislikes and backstory! I love going in depth with characters, so please add as much detail as you like. Please keep these ideas in mind when coming up with a concept! -What does your character LOVE? What Interests them? -What do you want your character to Excel in? -What do you want your character to be BAD at? -How does your character want to be seen by others? -What kind of goals does your character have? -How will they take the initiative to achieve them? -How did your upbringing affect the way you look at the world? -How do they go about making friends?

How Rian creates a safe table
*About Me* I was pulled into the world of TTRPGs in 2018 and have been hooked ever since. *GM Style* RP Style: I try to bring my NPCs and settings to life as much as I can. I heavily enjoy in depth backgrounds and world building. Combat style: I love combat and tactics! In my opinion, combat is a game of skill, but it should also be fun. Perhaps you'll die, or perhaps not! I do not ever fudge my own rolls, (LAME) and I'll always give players as much helpful advice during combat if they need it. Rules: I love working within the set rules as much as possible, however I absolutely encourage creativity. If it works and it makes sense its most likely to be a yes! Warnings: This game WILL include harm to children. Your character will be between the ages of 11-17 during the duration of the game (Except for the planned epilogue as adults), and will experience the failure to be protected by the adults around them. In addition, they will be exploited and manipulated by authority figures, so please be aware of that. Now, there will be a build up in the intensity of these things as the game goes on, (So we will not be starting with the worst possible first) there is a high likelihood of some pretty triggering content as the game progresses. Please keep that in mind! Adult Content: I do not allow explicit content at my table. However, I do encourage romance. There will be limits and boundaries around what is acceptable at what age (Given that you are playing children), but certain interactions will be accepted or denied based on the appropriate limitation for their age. Please keep this in mind while playing! SA and any illusion to it is not allowed. Whether in game or in backstory. *Safety* Everyone's safety is my #1 priority. I believe that D&D should be a welcoming space for all, and I will do whatever I can to make sure that is a reality. I am always open to feedback on safety and what I can do be more accommodating. I encourage everyone to be open with me about their needs and triggers so I can avoid them as much as possible, and please don't ever hesitate to remind me or correct me about things!
