About the adventure
Dungeons and Dragons can be intimidating to get into. This game is designed for beginners or people getting back into the game. This will be a game that is more narrative and action based and light on rules. The point is to have as much fun as possible. We will be playing in my custom setting of The Casket of Distant Universes. You are a group of adventurers that has been brought together at the capitol city of Hontica in the cat country of Khalifa. Cat creatures of all kinds life in Khalifa, even including talking common cats. The evil Rat King sent him minions to kidnap kittens and bring them to his underground sewers. His purposes are unknown. A dangerous journey into his kingdom awaits any adventure who dares brave what dangers await in his domain.

Creating your character
You can bring your own character, work with me on my discord channel, create on one before your first game. Any race or class is welcome. I would like to avoid evil player characters as that can get messy quickly. Any other alignments are fine. We will be starting at level 1. Don't worry if you don't have the books or a solid foundation on the rules. You will be walked through gameplay.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
You should have webcam and mic (your phone is fine), access to a web browser and optionally dice or a dice app (there are many free ones). We will be using a combination of Discord and Owlbear Rodeo (as our VTT). There is nothing to download. Invites will be provided.
What Alessandro brings to the table
I run a narrative based game with clear objectives. I love to do character voices and can improv at length. I encourage everyone to have fun over sticking to rigid rules. We will work using digital tools. I use a platform called Owlbear.rodeo (that's the url as well) for a virtual table top. I can help you create or provide tokens of your character. I will provide a complete experience. If you don't have dice or a dice app, Owlbear.rodeo has a built in dice roller.

We will have a Session Zero (a talk ahead of the game to layout ground rules and to go over characters). I accept no prejudice of any kind. No political discussion. Slurs or hate speech of any kind towards any groups will get you banned from my games forever. We will use no questions asked safety tools.
