About the adventure
LVLs 5-20 | Weekly Playthroughs | New Players Welcome! As the light from the Yawning Portal above you fades, your bravado fades with it; swallowed by the cramped darkness and choked silence of the shaft leading down. You're struggling to remind yourself why you signed up for this. The Undermountain? Really? Your shoulders jostle against those of your companions as the rickety platform continues its decent. Finally, after what seemed like an hour, your stomach retreats from your throat and you take the first breath you've been aware of since embarking on this foolishness. A clattering echo bounds out ahead of your group as the wooden platform on which you all stand makes contact with the slick, stone floor--a sobering effect. Steeling yourself, you step off of the platform. A symbolic departure--away from civilization and into--The Dungeon of the Mad Mage. Join Nightmares of the Roundtable as we embark on a journey through the notorious Undermountain! This adventure is designed for characters of 5th through 20th level. Players will need: -A working headset -A decent computer as our scenes often use dynamic sound and lighting -D&D Beyond account (free tier is sufficient) -A Forge account (free tier is sufficient) ** Assistance with any account setup will be provided to those that need it**
What Alex F. brings to the table
We play using Foundry (Hosted on the Forge) integrated with D&D Beyond. When you join, you will be provided an invitation link to the Forge, as well as a campaign link for character creation in D&D Beyond. You will gain access to a wealth of Race, Class, Spell, Feat, and Item material via D&D Beyond in addition to custom tokens. Players can expect a narratively driven game that balances RP with engaging combat and rules with cool.
