About the adventure
You are a vampire hunter, a freshly minted one at that. Armed with faith and silver. Your hunt? A possible Stragoi, you have gotten some news about from a nearby town. Details were sketchy, " Aye, Jonah cam back with his entire belly missing.", "I don't know, It might've been that potions peddler, he seemed off", " Body too mangled, it could've been a werewolf too...". Regardless you have made your way into town, asking questions. Carefully inspecting for signs. Little do you know your mortal foe the Stragoi has already marked you. They hide under the shadow you walk on, they watch from above the bed you sleep on and they have generations upon generations of experience hunting your kind. Never Let Your Guard Down, For these are creatures of ancient origins. Ever since the first mortal walked the land these creatures of eldritch horror have stalked said mortals. Forget the common myth of creepy noble living on a castle in a hill. These are vicious foes, some are Huge in size, some have magical capabilities that rival Archmages and some are nightmares of eldritch origins. In this Roleplay heavy Pathfinder 2e Gothic Horror Fantasy Campaign, you take on the role of a DreadHeart, a Lunarian Vampire Hunter. You and your fellow DreadHearts are vampire hunters with a variety of specializations. Expect to travel across the beautiful and diverse lands, towns and cities of Luna to track and hunt your foes.

About me
The name is Sam but I usually go by Gazer. I started GM-ing around 3 years ago now, first TTRPG game I played was sometime before then. Funnily enough my introduction to playing was through AD&D and it showed me what roleplaying can really do in a system so chunky like AD&D. Then came my first ever experience with GM'ing and that was through Delta Green, and I jumped into the deep end with a Fully Homebrewed Mini Campaign. After that 5E, PF2E are my usual Go-To but I've dabbled in more homebrew 5E such as StarWars5e and MassEffect 5e. I started GM-ing when I was in my junior year in college. Back then I had the dream of running a game with a bunch of my friends. But over time I've had many players and also with having consistent campaigns I've found myself really enjoying unique outlooks each player brings to the table. My love for TTRPG and GM-ing mainly comes from really having a table where people can create bonds and have moments that they can fondly look back on. To tell stories that are not only unique but relevant to each players vision of the story. TTRPG is collaborative and for me fun in GM-ing comes from seeing those moments where players are finding their own investment in the story.

Creating your character
-> Once You join the campaign you will gain access to relevant documents, that will help you understand the world and settings. We will hold a Zero Session that will include a one-shot to help ease players into my GM'ing style. -> Starting Level is Level 3 -> I am Allowing Automatic Bonus Progression & Free Archetype Rules. -> All Heritages allowed Besides: Damphir, Skeleton, Fleshwarp, Duskwalkers -> All Classes are allowed. -> All Backgrounds allowed. -> All Official Remastered Rules are Applicable. -> Item and Wealth list for Level 3 character will be provided after joining and making plans for characters. -> Milestone Leveling -> You are free to create character using any character creation software/form you deem fit. As long as you can share it with me. I recommend ( Pathbuilder or Wanderer's Guide) Recommendations Note: -> Your characters can be from any of the nations of Luna. They can be who you want them to be. To make your character fit and feel like part of the world, we will tweak details and work to create a proper character history. Remember these are vampire hunters in a gothic horror campaign, bring out the dark aspects, gothic vibes and religious visions within. -> The party aesthetic will be gothic fantasy. It is recommended to make characters that are serious, edgy, dark and gloomy. Players that enjoy dark and roleplaying morally ambiguous characters will find this campaign and my GM'ing style fun. -> This is a roleplaying heavy campaign, think about the concepts that you want to bring to the table, characters you yourselves are comfortable roleplaying. The final character will be a mix of both. These are some questions I have found that can help a player figure out what kind of character concept they may enjoy and want to try out: -> Your character, Why do they wish to hunt Vampires? -> What is their short term goal to accomplish? What is their long-term goal? -> You and your allies are faced against a Stragoi in a remote village. You find out it has infected the villages through the well and all of them are soon to turn to ghouls. What do you do?
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Discord : Have Discord Account, that will be used for communication during session. Owlbear Rodeo: This is free and will be used for maps and tools. This can run on any browser on a solid PC. Mic: A working mic will be necessary. Essential for running games. Camera: A working camera is recommended. I recommend it as it helps create an on table like environment and helps me adjust for player expression. Character Creation: You are free to create character using any software you deem fit. As long as you can share it with me.
What Sam brings to the table
-> Documentation on the World and a Full Primer to help you set up -> I do a lot of Rule of Cool based gameplay, so it's best to discuss your plans and build ahead with me. -> I do music with Youtube-Music. This includes music to set ambiance. -> My discord Server is set up to properly have documentations and notes so as to help your experience. -> I make and use custom maps using Inkarnate.
Homebrew rules
-> I don't usually do hidden rolls as I have found them to take away from player agency. -> Different types of combat may have fun twists. Such as a Duels , Ambushes, standoffs etc. These are fun things that will help make combat feel meaningful.

How Sam creates a safe table
A survey will be sent to player regarding lines and veils, which can be updated through surveys I will post every 3~4 sessions Each session ends with debriefing and stars & wishes. X,N,O is digital through extension on owlbear. Session zero goes over clear expectations.
