About the adventure

MASKS: The Next generation is a Powered By the Apocalypse style game starring teen superheroes. I'll be using the books default setting, Halcyon city. And while I could, and will one of the preset adventures. I always do better telling personalized stories centered around the characters. The game will have a central plot, generally revolving around what brought the team together, and individual character story arcs interspersed. Exactly which direction the campaign goes will depend on the group.

Character creation

Creating your character

All players are encouraged to look over the playbooks and have a good idea what you want, but also have 1-2 back ups. We'll do a session 0 to finalize characters and how the group came together.

What to expect

Preparing for the session

The game will happen on Discord and Roll20. If you have the books already, I encourage re-reading the playbooks. If not don't worry about it. We'll go over everything in session 0

What Cody Rogers brings to the table

I'll bring years of experience running superhero games, a theatre of the mind style of play focused on making your characters look cool and feel like real people

Homebrew rules

There isn't any house rules, but if the group decides to play one of the preset MASKS adventures, some playbooks may be banned, same if the group wants to focus on a particular theme (Street level, cosmic etc...)
