About the adventure
Do you have the courage to face every type of chromatic and metallic dragon? Delve into 10 dungeons each with a draconic theme. Whether you are conquers or saviors is up to you but you will learn about the majesty of each of the different types of dragons as you go along. I will be using inspiration from Fizban's Treasury of Dragons to tell a larger story and try to connect each of the 10 adventures in some small way. Session 0 will be used to figure out how much players want to differ from the premade adventure if at all.

About me
Want to be a part of telling a compelling story in 5E Dungeons and Dragons? Then look no further! As a DM that emphasizes storytelling, I love to tell grand tales about good vs evil with internal consistency and respect for the awesome characters you bring to the table. While I do love a good one-shot, my love for the game comes from playing whole campaigns and watching my player's characters grow and change. At the table I run a quick paced narrative game with relevant combat to make sure my players get the most out of each session. I run my games with a Rules as Written mindset that leaves space for players to shine with rare Rule of Cool moments. If you are looking to be a part of a great story then let me be your guide in the realm of Dungeons & Dragons.

Creating your character
You do not need to make a character before session 0 but you are welcome to. You and I will work together to create a character with an interesting backstory in Roll20. If you are going to roll stats please do so at session 0, otherwise I ask that you use the standard array. We are currently only using the 2024 D&D Core rules so please limit your choices to the current PHB.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Players will need a Roll20 and a Discord account. You will also need a decent mic. Video is optional.
What Jake M brings to the table
As GM, I try to cultivate a relaxed vibe at the table that allows for roleplay heavy scenes while leaving space for the calmer silly moments. I love how combat works in 5E and tend to have intense, tactical combat situations. I prefer to stick to Rules as Written games with Rule of Cool moments to let characters shine. I also provide a dedicated Discord server with music to provide ambiance while we play. I also have a Roll20 Plus subscription which means players will be able to access my sourcebooks for free!
Homebrew rules
I tend to not use homebrew rules.

How Jake M creates a safe table
This adventure is, for the most part, pretty light hearted but every quality adventure has its moments where things can get rocky. I will be asking players in session 0 what safety tools, if any, they prefer.
