About the adventure
Caught between heaven and hell, is Mannafold, the world of Mankind. Where the path of the righteous are beset on all sides with evil and peril. When power is gained beyond that of your peers, what choices will you make with it? You may find yourself trying to be noble, but the path to hell is of course paved with good intentions. Mannafold is large open world sandbox where you can wander, become lost, defeat evils, seize thrones, establish orders, adopt a cat, or get a job and hang out at the pub afterwards! - Keep in mind, we'll be running in 3D with decent map sizes, which means you'll need to have a gaming rig that can at least hold it's own, nothing too fancy required though.

About me
With a passion to tell stories, i've always wanted to make video games and experiences of a similar sort. Now i've found a way to do a little bit of both, with the help of dnd and you, dear reader! I've always been into tabletop gaming ever since, my brothers showed me their first warhammer 40k minis, but i've only recently joined the fray in terms of dnd and being a dungeon master, although i've always been keen on creating elaborate campaigns in other tabletop games, like the afforementioned warhammer in particular (Currently a homebrew wh40k kill team RPG). Lately i've been getting into foundry vtt with 3D canvas and have been brewing up, what i believe to be, a pretty cool hybrid between playing DnD and a video game rpg like Baldur's Gate 3.

Creating your character
Feel free to come up with your own concept for a character. If you would like, I am happy to help you. I can also provide you with a pre-built character. We'll import your characters from dndbeyond into foundry, so the character creation is familiar to most people. As long as the character sheet is set to public, we will be good to go. Use any of the following sources: - Player Handbook 2024 - Forgotten Realms: Heroes of Faerûn - Xanathar's Guide to Everything - Tasha's Cauldron of Everything - Sword Coast Adventurer's Guide - Bigsby Presents: Glory of the Giants - Fitzban's Treasury of Dragons Additionally you may also choose from the subclasses in PHB 2014, that hasn't been updated in later releases. For stats you may choose to use either Standard Array or Point Buy.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
We will use discord for communication, so you'll need to join this discord server: https://discord.gg/86F8Fz7M If you haven't updated your drivers in a while, now is a good time to do so. Otherwise, all you need to do is show up, and have a mic. Feel free to join me on camera if you wish. You do not need to create an account in foundry. I will message you a username and password on discord before our first session. On a technical level, we'll be running in 3D with decent map sizes, which means you'll need to have a computer that can run it. Nothing too fancy required though. I'm not too technical myself, but i hear 8 gb RAM should be considered a minimum with a graphics card not much older than 10 years.
What Victor brings to the table
The world you are about to enter is one that is very much shaped by the players. I have a vast setting with tons of possibilies for exploration, epic battles, a wide gallery of characters. The world of mankind is still young and unexplored, though ancient discoveries are made. I aim to place agency in the hands of the players by acting the part of the game engine. Mannafold strives to be a community that stays active between sessions with players participating in the world in parties other than yours through different campaign mediums, such as one-shots, campaigns and play-by-post.
