Creating your character

The person you were before you received your ticket no longer matters. Druskenvald will reshape you. Session Zero: We will forge your character together before our first session, ensuring they are perfectly woven into the grim tapestry of this world. The Tools of Fate: We will use D&D Beyond to create your character, but the rules of the outside world are different here. You will roll for your stats using 1d10+8, for the crooked moon does not favour the predictable. Partnered Content: We will be using official 2024 rules and exclusive partnered content from Avantris Entertainment. Other powers may be permitted, but only if they are deemed worthy of this cursed land.

Rules of this Cursed Land The laws of nature are bent here. Heed these truths, lest you be consumed: No Darkvision: The darkness in Druskenvald is absolute. No mortal eyes, regardless of species, can pierce it without the aid of magic or a flickering flame. The Perils of Exhaustion: The very air is heavy with despair. Rest is fleeting, and the longer you go without it, the more the land will try to claim you. Critical Fates: The crooked moon is a fickle entity. Double 20s will result in an "ultra-critical," a moment of brilliant, savage power. Conversely, a natural 1 on a saving throw against a damaging spell will result in a critical hit, as the magic of this land seizes its opportunity. And More... We will discuss the other unique mechanics of this world during our Session Zero.
