About the adventure
Have you always wanted to play a specific type of game? Maybe one tailored for a specific character? Or that of a specific genre? Whatever the case, let's do it! I love running homebrew worlds and campaigns that follow characters' goals and aspirations. So tell me exactly what kind of D&D you are looking for and we will make it happen! My games tend to be in high fantasy settings with some modern elements thrown in as magic. There is usually a bit of seriousness and silliness in each campaign but I am open to all ideas!

About me
Hi my name is Patrick! I’m an experienced game master for Dungeons and Dragons 5e. I love homebrew worlds and “rule of cool” additions and actually ran a campaign before ever playing in one. I still play with my friends from home but am looking to expand my horizons, make more D&D friends, and help new players get into the game that I love! I’m currently working towards my bachelor's degree in Film and have a vast background in theatre, acting, and improv. Located in New England and run weekly evening sessions for Eastern Standard Time but I am moving to the UK this fall! Session times are flexible for new games and custom bookings are available at request.

Creating your character
Come to Session 0 with a character, backstory, AND campaign setting in mind and we will take everyone's ideas and interweave them. What kind of story do you want to tell? Where might that take place? If you're joining as a group feel free to discuss a theme prior to Session 0. For characters: pick from any species, class, and background in the standard rules or any you have available on D&D Beyond. (Or book a session and sign into the campaign to get access to my purchases)
What to expect
Preparing for the session
You will need access to a computer/laptop, a mic, a webcam (optional but preferred), and steady internet. 1. Book a session (Session 0 is 50% off) 2. Join the Discord Server via private message 3. What Patrick brings to the table
As a DM I love fostering arcs in each player's character and discussing what their wants and needs are within the campaign. I am an actor by trade with over 2 years of Dungeon Master experience. My play style is roleplay-heavy with lots of room for character growth and big moments. I tend to follow the Rule of Cool in combat and exploratory settings. Use your creativity to problem-solve and tell a good story, I'm all for it! I have a master tier D&D Beyond account which will be used for character creation, campaign management, and content sharing D&D Beyond Maps will be used with custom maps for combat and dungeon delving. I encourage theatre of the mind and will not use maps for everything but try to provide visual aids whenever possible Discord will be used for voice and video chat during games and any note-sharing or questions in between games. I am a big notetaker as a player and love when players write down key events.
