About the adventure
This is a high fantasy game for new to veteran players centered in a high magic world. The continent of Alverace had been brought to a stand still by thousands of years of war between the two countries sharing it. Jirata is a Country of arcane magic and political power that is decided by magical superiority. Yenov is a country of innovation and ruled by religious necessity. Only recently have the two come to a tentative peace. A long standing drought plagued the land making resources scarce. Since the end of the war, storms have been ravaging the land. The new rain has washed mud away to reveal ruins never seen before. With the upcoming magical tournament, the College cant spare the casters to make sure the new ruins are safe to send scholars to, so they have turned to adventurers with a contract to clear it out. You decided how and why you were offered to be apart of this contract, and what your connection to the college is. Are you a wizard hoping this will give you an opportunity to study at the College? Or perhaps do you owe the headmaster a favor? What ever works for your backstory, with in reason.

About me
I'm Silver. I primarily DM Dungeons and Dragons 5th edition games. I have been DMing games for 5 years now and have found myself to be fairly flexible with in home brew games. I am well versed in Faerun lore and have a couple of home brew worlds fleshed out and ready for games. I am also comfortable enough to run modules, though I do enjoy adding a few twists to make things a little more fun. (Fun after all is the priority)

Creating your character
I offer a session 0 to go over the game and what characters everyone would like to play. I prefer official books but I ask to please steer away from Tasha's Cauldron. Starting Level will be level 3.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Games are run On Roll 20 and Discord. I have a Discord server for talking and listing pertinent info for the game. Please be sure to have an account for both, they are free. Ill be sure to provide a link to each.
What Silver Saphire brings to the table
I use ambient music in and out of combat. I love to use character voices as often as I can. My games are full of choices that have an effect on the world around you in and out of combat. I mostly go rules as written but I've been known to occasionally give way to rule of cool as long as it doesn't break anything.
Homebrew rules
A critical hit will give you max one set of dice and you roll the second. You can change a spell or two out for the first two sessions if you find what you picked just doesn't work for you. You may re-roll health if you get a 1 once. If you roll a 1 a second time you keep it. Resurrection has consequences (I have a chart of possibilities should you be brought back much of it is flavor but it goes hand in hand with more exhaustion levels the more you die)
