About me

I'm a game designer, show producer, host, queer activist and an experienced GM. I've been running at conventions for over 15 years. I've run successful games in person, online, as part of streams and on stage. I am fiercely inclusive, running mostly games that focus on dynamic relationship mechanics, with queer themes. I've been called the Kevin Bacon of Monsterhearts. I once killed Matt Mercer. . .'s character in a game of For the Queen. My pronouns are she & he series, which is not an option in the drop down.

Character creation

Creating your character

We'll talk about which playbooks people are interested in via group chat, and do a quick creation session at the start of the game together.

What to expect

Preparing for the session

We will use google meet to talk and google slides to share character sheets and world information. Cameras are welcome but not required.

What Brian A Liberge brings to the table

I have a lot of experience running Powered by the Apocalypse games including Thirsty Sword Lesbians. I try to bring a focus on fun, within the bounds of consent. All romance is done with with safety tools in place. I have a Bachelors of Science in Theatre Arts, that I make use of when fleshing out side characters and locations on the fly, as well as rolling with creative curveballs that make games like Thirsty Sword Lesbians shine.

Homebrew rules

I run this game Rules as Written.

Safety

How Brian A Liberge creates a safe table

I use the tools Fade to Black (for moving past a scene, but acknowledging it happened), I Would Rather (for making your desires clear in the moment) and Time Out (to signal it's time to stop and discuss). It is always an Open Table, if this is no longer a place you want to be you have no obligation to be here. No guilt, no shame
