About the adventure
Rule the Streets of Crow's Foot. Rise High. Fall Hard. Welcome to the tangled, crumbling alleys of Crow's Foot. This crowded, restless district is now defined by the sudden absence of order. The Crows are gone, but the city's appetite for blood remains. The Red Sashes, The Lampblacks, and rival gangs are at each other’s throats. You’ll begin as neighbors, strangers, or distant acquaintances—just scraping by in the power vacuum. No crew name. No turf. No reputation. Not yet. But the territory of the fallen Crows is a carcass ready for the feast. And you are hungry. - Tone: Bleak, human, volatile—with flickers of hope. Expect moments of resistance, solidarity, and humanity amid the grime. - Style Touchstones: The Wire meets Peaky Blinders. Gangs of Wasseypur meets Taboo. - Prep-Rich, Paperwork-Light: I run prep-rich live sessions focused on scores, drama, and consequence—not paperwork. All downtime is narratively worked through as part of the story, not just a tick-box exercise. - Deep Cuts Edition: We use the official "Deep Cuts" variant rules (Threat Rolls, Diceless Downtime, Streamlined Load). This brings character depth and consequence to the forefront while keeping the action fast. - Strictly limited to 4 Players to keep conversations intimate and the narrative rich. Why Play This Campaign? I specialise in bringing chaotic fun within a structured story. I manage the pacing so you can focus on the heist. Whether you are a veteran scoundrel or a fresh recruit, if you are ready to seize the district, there is a place in the crew for you.

About me
Hello there. I’m Suse. I’m a Moodwright here to guide you through worlds where the weird and wonderful collide. I’ve been running games for over 25 years, playing through character sheets untold to bring these stories to the StartPlaying portal. Roll sanity checks for me in Delta Green Ask to hear my Devil's Bargain in Blades in the Dark Indulge me on how your ogre sous chef cooks up a storm in Troika! Or roll +Cool in Monster of the Week after I’ve made a Hard Move against you. I’m a ‘yes, and’ kind of Ref with a dash of ‘Rule of Cool’. I believe the best stories are those we tell together, where your wild ideas are celebrated and your characters shine in the spotlight. My table is always safe, inclusive, and ready for you. Who will you play at my table?

Creating your character
- Session Zero: We create characters collaboratively during the first session. - The Constraint: No Hollow, Vampire, or Ghost characters at the start. - Hulls: Small/Medium Hulls are allowed. Large-framed Hulls will find their bulk limits the scores they can engage with. - Vibe: No full backstory needed—just a mood, a voice, or a glimpse of something broken.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
- Tech Check: Please ensure you have a working mic, Foundry account, and Discord account before Session Zero. - Safety First: Please complete and return the safety checklist provided on Discord before Session 0 begins. - Rules: No deep system knowledge required. I teach the mechanics (including the Deep Cuts variants) as we play.
What Suse brings to the table
- Story Over Rules: We prioritize the Rule of Cool, theatre of the mind, and a story-rich experience over rule debates. Grimy Glamour: Expect a rich, character-driven campaign shaped entirely by your choices. Consequence: Hard decisions and consequences that simmer and build—all grounded in a textured, threatening Doskvol. Immersion: Individually adjustable ambient music and a focus on narrative flow, not paperwork.
Homebrew rules
This campaign includes mechanics from Deep Cuts official ruleset variant. No custom homebrew mechanics are in play at the outset, though minor tweaks may evolve naturally during play.
