About the adventure

Whether it's been a while since you last played and need a refresher or you're a first time player looking to start learning the game - join me for this introductory session. In this session I will take you through some of the basics of D&D 5e: how to read a character sheet, how to make a roll, common terminology, role-playing as your character, and basic battle conventions. Once we have covered the basics, your party will head off on their first short adventure with whatever time we have remaining to apply all of the basics they've just learned. All experience levels are welcome at the table, but this session is specifically geared toward new players and will be paced as such. If you have friends you want to play with you're encouraged to have them sign up for the same session.

About me

Hi! My name is Spencer, I have been running D&D one shots and campaigns since 2023, I enjoy running both pre-written campaigns and stories, as well as writing some of my own. My tables are inclusive, encourage creativity, and try to immerse you in the action through interactive maps and soundscapes. All levels of experience are welcome at my table, whether you're a seasoned adventurer or a first-time player! I am always adding more listings to my profile, but if there's a game you want to play or would like to discuss a custom booking please don't hesitate to reach out. IN-PERSON SESSIONS I am also available for in-person sessions in the New Jersey area, please reach out for further details. These are great for birthday parties, corporate events, and much more.
