About the adventure

The city of Elointhar has been plagued by an impossible event for over a month now, a sudden rift in space time looms over the sky, shimmering with an astral glow as it beats like a heart, growing and shrinking with each day, yet somehow stable; A wound between crossing realms, and a grievous one at that, as it refuses to close despite its unusual duration. Scholars insist such a phenomenon should be impossible; yet they are proven wrong with each passing day, as aberrant creatures break through the rift to lay waste on our world on an almost daily basis. Recruited into a high-stakes expedition led by a renowned xeno-archaeologist Dariah Winsord, you and your team are sent across the world to investigate past Realm-Rift sites: places where reality once changed with other realms, scaring the land and leaving behind strange echoes, unstable magic, and traces of realms never meant to touch our own. Each step deeper into this mystery forces you through wild frontiers, treacherous landscapes, political shadows, and territories where diplomacy is as dangerous as the wilderness itself. What begins as a research mission quickly becomes something more. Patterns emerge. Secrets long buried stir. The Rift in the sky grows, changes… watches....is something trying to break through?

About me

Your story, my world. Let's make something unforgettable. I've been running TTRPG campaigns professionally for over a decade, and here's what I've learned: the best stories happen when your choices actually matter. I don't write scripts. I don't railroad. I build Etharis; a living, breathing high-fantasy world with deep immersive lore and marks left by all my past tables, where the game system is just a means to tell our tale; and then I hand you the wheel. You want to betray the quest-giver? Burn down the tavern? Charm the villain and turn them into an ally? You can certainly try. I come from a background in film and game art, so I treat every session like a production. Professional VTT setup (Foundry), custom maps, reference art, and enough prep to improvise anything you throw at me. Whether you're a veteran looking for deep roleplay or a newbie who wants to learn in a welcoming space, I'll meet you where you are. My games go from gritty intrigue to bombastic heroism; with just enough absurdity to keep us laughing years later. If you want a GM who listens, adapts, and narrates stories with you instead of at you, let's talk.

Character creation

Creating your character

All ancestries begin with an additional experience that reflects their society and characteristics in the setting's lore, therefore we'll have a short session 0 prior to the game and create characters together. Bring an idea of the character you'd like to play to our session 0, we'll work with other players to find hooks that join everyone together, sharing character secrets or rumors and focusing on the story and the feel of the characters. Characters will begin their adventure with a custom crafted magical item that is of significance to their backstories. This magical item will gain the opportunity to grow, improve and evolve during the adventure, growing in power with you.

What to expect

Preparing for the session

Have a web browser ready to join the link I'll send you for foundry VTT. You'll be able to see and edit your character sheet there, as well as keep a private journal and a communal one for session note keeping with the other players. It's possible to join this link with a tablet, but phones may prove difficult due to resolution constraints. Download Discord onto your preferred device and have an account ready. https://discord.com/ Have a microphone ready and set up for voice chat. Ideally be on a place without much noise. You can use your phone microphone or headphones, as long as your voice is clear it will be perfect. Though cameras are not required, they are encouraged to help with roleplay.

What Martin (The Fate weaver) brings to the table

This is a game for folks who enjoy digging into mysteries, piecing things together as a group, and wandering into places where the map gets a little vague and the sky feels a little too close. The expedition is your anchor, but the story grows from the choices the party makes as you uncover clues, navigate danger, and figure out who to trust. Expect a mix of travel, problem-solving, and “oh my gods, what is that?” moments as you trek through wild regions that haven’t been charted in centuries. You’ll have plenty of space to role-play, theorize together, and chase weird leads — whether that means negotiating with prickly locals, exploring ruins buzzing with unstable energy, or dealing with rival groups who want the same answers you do. The vibe at the table stays friendly, collaborative, and open to big ideas. If you want to try something wild, dramatic, or cinematic, we run with it. If you prefer quiet investigation or character-driven scenes, we make space for that too. This is a story you help shape, and every discovery changes the direction of the expedition. If you're into exploration, shared storytelling, and the feeling that the world is just a little stranger than it first appears, you’ll fit right in. The following benefits are provided on each session, making constant improvements to elevate the experience: • Foundry VTT and a variety of curated premium modules. 🕹️ • Custom maps designed by hand. 🎨 • Archivist AI's, providing an interactive lore keeper. 🤖 • Recording of each session, privately uploaded for players and their friends to relive, with an overlay of reactive PNG portraits, dice rolls and more! 🎥 • In session music, ambience and sounds. ♫ • Personalized Homebrew specific to your character's development. ✨ • Character driven world, focusing on role play and narrative. 🌟 • Immersive and deadly encounters with high stakes and impact. 🚨 • AI generated and curated images for portraits and locations. ⚙️ • Out of session question answering and community assistance. 🕓 ---- Sign up perks ---- • Bring a buddy promo! Safety

How Martin (The Fate weaver) creates a safe table

During our session 0 we'll go over the setting and the safety tools to be used, which may be shared in the public text channel for the campaign, or requested privately through DM. We'll also fill a consent checklist to make sure no uncomfortable surprises happen, and introduce the line and veils safety tool. After each session we'll take 10 minutes to go over wishes and requests for characters to go through, as well as a little bit of feedback.
