About the adventure
This is a good introductory game for new players. It will also appeal to others who have played before and wish to participate in a fun adventure. I tend to keep things relaxed rules wise and prefer to focus on story and player driven interactions. There is a lot of freedom but there is still plenty of DND excitement to be had. Like most DMs I like to acquire things from multiple sources and work it into a heavily player driven story. I do not tend to railroad people but I do try to keep a fun story going based on what the players decide to do. Decisions do have consequences.

About me
Long Time Forever DM. Have been playing since before 3rd. started DMing in 2006. Have had multiple games on tabletop, roll 20, and by post. I am a retired Veteran and I am really casual and like to play with a relaxed group of fun people. I am not super rules heavy but I try to keep the rules in play. I prefer players to be imaginative and definitely follow the rule of cool. I try to make sure everyone has a good time.

Creating your character
It is recommended that players create a level 1 character prior to first session. This should be done on D&D Beyond for easy character creation and for me to import it into VTT. I am also planning on doing a session 0 with new players to go over VTT usage, rules, and anything else requested prior to the first game and will happily make a new character together with every player as needed. I will also happily provide a premade character for players if requested. I prefer the standard 4d6 drop the lowest for character generation and will record rolls during session 0.
It is recommended that players select traditional player handbook classes and races. However, I am totally open to other material and sources (pending approval of course). I recommend a good party mix but ultimately I want players to have fun and not feel restricted to having to play a class they don't want to play.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Discord - Essential for voice (video totally optional) Foundry - Player access needed for VTT usage. Roll 20 - Recommended to have account for backup in case foundry gives technical issues. D&D Beyond - For character generation.
What kingcorcio brings to the table
I provide feedback for all questions and even offer one on one interactions if needed. I respond to messages frequently and promptly. I provide freedom but also challenge. I try to create memorable characters and scenarios and tactical combat. I prefer rule of cool to raw. I also try to do alot of set up on vtt prior to games.
Homebrew rules
I tend to see what players are familiar/ comfortable with and adjust as needed. Hard set rules and lines will be established first session. Generally accepted rules are established during play as needed and others can be adjusted with consensus. I like critical hits and critical failures. I also remind people that if you use creative tactics with enemies, the enemies might start copying those tactics as well.
