About the adventure
Horror on the Orient Express is a journey into the exquisite and the uncanny, where elegance and nightmare share the same narrow corridors. This campaign is a tapestry of mystery woven through folklore, psychological tension folded into opulence, and danger that never announces itself until it’s far too late. Here, the horror doesn’t leap from the shadows; it grows slowly and beautifully, blooming like frost across glass before you realize you’ve been touched by something you cannot explain. Your investigators board the world’s most luxurious train expecting refinement and respite, only to find themselves entangled in secrets wrapped in ritual, obsession, and dream-logic. The Orient Express becomes its own character—magnetic, restless, and hungry—guiding you toward revelations that bend the border between waking reality and the realms beneath it. Each stop along the line peels back another layer of the truth, and each truth cuts a little deeper. This game is for players who savor atmosphere, tension, and long-form storytelling. It asks you to lean into investigation, character choices, and the soft, creeping dread of discovering too much. I am seeking dedicated players who show up on time and ready to dive in; attendance is valued above everything else, not out of rigidity, but because the story depends on its storytellers. When everyone is present, the horror feels alive, and the unraveling of mysteries becomes a shared, unforgettable descent. If you’ve ever wanted to step inside a beautiful nightmare—one that whispers long before it screams—then take your seat. The train is about to depart, and reality will not follow you aboard.

What David brings to the table
What I Bring to the Table I run with a full digital arsenal designed to make the story richer, the world sharper, and the experience unforgettable. I bring a dedicated Foundry VTT server, tuned for smooth play and fully stocked with dynamic lighting, automation, and polished scenes. This keeps the action fluid and the pacing cinematic. I bring Syrinscape, weaving reactive soundscapes through every moment — the rattle of train tracks, the creak of old floorboards, the heartbeat-loud tension before a roll that matters. I bring Archivist AI, a system for live game logging, session notes, player arcs, and narrative continuity. It tracks the quiet details so the table never loses the thread of a character’s past or foreshadows their future. I bring LoveMaps, providing high-definition maps, handouts, and token sets crafted for atmosphere. Locations feel lived-in, haunted, or dangerous exactly when they should.
