About the adventure
The region has been thrown into chaos since the death of the guardian (metallic) dragon Nozdormu, having been defeated by a Blue (chromatic) dragon taking over his territory, with him came Cultists, Kobolds, and unrest among the local wildlife. A ranching town (Falkreath) sent for aid from the nearby city which was posted as a job taken by our players, the jobs details state that the town believes kobolds are slowly encroaching the town due to the animal panic in the area, which our players need to exterminate, they will learn the a grave secret kept by a pair of townsfolk, and have a heavy decision to make.

Creating your character
Just make a lvl 3 character in dnd beyond with no Homebrew and take 1 green (uncommon) magic item. Preferably make character in the new rules but 2014 is fine as well just make sure to share the sheet just so I can give it a once over.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
you'll need join a discord server for voice/video call, and you'll need to have Owlbear rodeo prepared incase a combat occurs. (you'll be sent links for both)
What DarkSamuraiV brings to the table
I do some accents and voices (within my abilities), I use ambient music (i'm new to it so i may mess up the tracks at points), my personal players say im best with designing combats, I think my best points are believable character perspectives (like when the players have all the information, they can understand why/how a npc has done something), and creating a world logic that fits both in narrative and in mechanics, but ig that's up to the player.
Homebrew rules
I don't really use homebrew rules in one-shots, just keep in mind I'm still learning the 2024 rules and if we come to a conflict between new and old rules depending on circumstance i will likely rule in favor of old cuz that's what I'm used to, and in my experience a lot of the new rules are kinda non-sensical.
