About the adventure

You were promised a day off. No goblins. No dragons. Just a tankard of ale and maybe a nap. Then a panicked sheep shows up, yes, a sheep, clutching a Scroll of Speak with Animals and bleating out a desperate plea for help. So much for peace and quiet. What follows is a hilariously unhinged magical mess involving a vengeful apprentice, dangerously unpredictable spells, animal mercenaries, and a goblin who takes his riddles way too seriously. Your mission? Unravel the mystery, survive the magical mayhem, and maybe save the day, preferably without being polymorphed into livestock. This adventure is packed with: Baa-d puns (you’ve been warned), Off-the-wall encounters, Shenanigans that reward creative problem-solving and bold ideas. As your DM, I encourage wild plans, unorthodox tactics, and moments of glorious chaos. Want to bluff your way past a dire goose patrol? Start a sheep-led rebellion? Cast Mage Hand just to dramatically toss your cloak? Do it. Let’s turn a “typical day off” into the most absurd and unforgettable quest of your adventuring career. Will you save the sheep? Or will you get fleeced?

About me

Creating your character

Please make a level 5 character before the session We will be using 2024 rules and please use either Standard array or point buy to allocate stats.

What to expect

Preparing for the session

Players should have the following: - access to a webcam/mic - a dndbyond account (for building characters and accessing the campaign and VTT) - a discord account (for playing the game)

What Joe (Phoenix) brings to the table

I will provide all necessary links to play the game and all game material. Such as, the discord server, dndbeyond campaign, and VTT I mainly focus on roleplay and story telling with a bit of puzzles and some combat to keep things spicy. I am a very rules light kind of GM I use the rules more like guidelines and just want people to come together and have a good time playing some dnd!

How Joe (Phoenix) creates a safe table

We will have a brief session 0 before the game starts to go over any questions or concerns players may have about the game and we will also go over character builds.
