About the adventure

Have you seen Critical Role? Have you heard of Dimension 20? Maybe you've played Baldur's Gate 3. Or maybe you've heard about D&D from friends, the internet, or television and movies. In any case, maybe you've learned about Dungeons and Dragons and your curiosity has been peaked, but you don't know where to start or if the game is even for you. If that is the case, then this is the campaign for you! This is a 3-5 session adventure that will teach you how to play D&D. Session 1 will deal with a detailed look at character creation and understanding how to play D&D and will end with a little bit of the story to get your feet wet. Sessions 2-6 will focus on the adventure as whole. During sessions, gameplay may pause as I teach you how to play the characters you've chosen, what you can do as players, and what the role of the dungeon master is. This whole adventure will resemble a tutorial section of video game where you can freely ask the DM questions and experiment with roleplaying in a no-pressure environment. If you are an experienced player, this quest is likely not for you, though you are still welcome to join. Sessions will run 2-3 hours and are $15 a session. However, you can choose a pre-payment package and get all 2-6 sessions for $60. Ask me about packages if you are interested. First session is free! Try before you buy.

About me

I've been a GM for six years now. I've done many campaigns, weaving complex official D&D storylines together with my own bit of personal flair. I've also done a number of one shots and one page dungeons. These last ones can be the most fun as they often differ dramatically and put players in some very unusual situations. I'm available for hire for a group that wants to run the Curse of Strahd Campaign, Rise of Tiamat, Phandelver and Below, and many more. For sessions, I primarily use a mix of theater of the mind and I use tabletop simulator for visuals to create some elaborate 3d dungeons and then I stream the feed to a zoom channel where players make decisions for their characters and interact.
