About the adventure
Do you want to discover Daggerheart? This is an intro Daggerheart One-Shot Game for new players wanting to try the system! Synopsis: Marlowe Fairwind, the right-hand sorcerer of King Emeris, has gathered YOU - her most trusted allies to carry an important package to Hush, a small village within the ancient forest of Sablewood. The crate is large, heavy and sealed with magic, addressed to the Whitefire Arcanist. You’ve been given a map and a carriage, and the promise of a reward upon your arrival. Feel free to play one of 5 pre-generated characters, including a Rogue, Ranger, Guardian, Warrior, Marlowe the Sorcerer, or build your own!

Creating your character
You may choose one of the 5 pre-generated characters, including a Ranger, Guardian, Rogue, Warrior and Sorcerer. I'd recommend this if you're new and/or joining last minute. (If you sign up for Demiplane, you'll have access to these starter characters for free). If You're Building a Character: - You'll be Level 1 using the standard Daggerheart array (+2, +1, +1, 0, 0, -1) - Please use what's in the Daggerheart SRD found here: https://www.daggerheart.com/srd/ - You may create your character using pen & paper, a downloadable PDF, or on Demiplane. Just send me your character before the session begins on Discord and we're good to go! - Download a portrait for your character to upload to Discord/Owlbear Rodeo. If you have any difficulty building your character, you can always message me.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
I host this on a Discord Server and with Owlbear Rodeo VTT. So please make sure you have accounts on these platforms. Once you join, I'll send you a link to our Discord Server and the Owlbear Rodeo room. Owlbear Rodeo has a Virtual Dice Roller. You may opt to use physical or digital dice - whichever you prefer (Note you need 2d12's). For Character Sheets, you may choose Pen & Paper (print), Downloadable PDF, or Demiplane. (However, Demiplane is not required to play).
What Joey brings to the table
I bring custom-made maps, scene cards/images for immersion, quirky NPCs, narrative combat encounters, and plenty of exploration opportunities in-game! I'll also provide real-time support on rulings and help with your characters as needed. Owlbear Rodeo VTT has a virtual dice roller if you don't have physical dice.
