About the adventure
Create your character, join your party, explore and fight your way through the forests filled with snarling beasts, vicious fiends, and devious fey. This series of one shots will be an excellent intro for new players, with veteran players enjoying starting over with new characters and building new stories.

About me
I have been playing and GMing for almost two years and have enjoyed the experience immensely. In that short time, I've discovered a passion for being a Game Master. I've played DND 5e, both 2014 and 2024. I've played Daggerheart and Call of Cthulu as well. In addition, I've taken classes on GMing through Altrole.

I will have premade characters in case you don't really know how to create a specific build, but I am happy to work with you on character creation and backstory.

What Dakota brings to the table
I utilize character voices, music, and combat scaled to your level. We use Rules as Written (RaW), which will help new players learning the ropes.
Homebrew rules
Potion can be consumed as a bonus action, but you will roll for health instead of automatically getting full amount. I also use the Perkin's Crit, if you don't know what that is, don't worry, I got you.

How Dakota creates a safe table
I have a Lines and Veils doc in the Discord server, you can add to it what you need. As these are oneshots, we won't have a full Session 0 but there will be an intro discussing some of the highlights. If there is a topic that you didn't think would be a problem but becomes one, you can send me a dm, either with the letter X and a brief explanation of what it is.
