About the adventure
Have you always had a strong connection to animals and nature? Then this campaign is for you! Play in a world where the relationship between beast and men is rapidly declining through the meddling of a mysterious villain and become the hero that both sides need! Enter, the world of Errah. A world that is still young, with humanoids only being a few centuries old themselves. When Humanity was young, the Animasked appeared. Humanoid vessels granted masks by the gods of the animal to commune with Humanity and foster relations. But after centuries, the Animasks slowly disappeared. Some say they were destroyed, buried or taken back by the gods, while others yet claim the masks are still in circulation. Though no one knows for sure. Now that the Animasked are gone however, relations between the world of men and the world of beasts has suffered greatly. Stories of Humanity being attacked in by unnaturally aggressive animals and in response, burning the forest to clean out the so called "pests". After all this time some believe the Animasks must return or the relation between nature and Humanity will never be the same... Will you be the hero Errah needs and uncover the many mysteries of the Animasks?

Creating your character
Players that join at the start will be requested to join a free session:0. This is so we can set expectations together, talk about player safety and create characters together. We'll decide whether to use the old D&D5e core rules or the newer DnD 2024 rules. At least for character creation. For rulebooks, I allow all official content for character creation. For homebrew and UA I prefer to look over it together to see if and where changes are needed. All you have to do before session 0 is bring your can-do attitude and join the discord in which we play via voice call!
What to expect
Preparing for the session
You will need a decent quality microphone is required! Make sure you have a discord account to join the community server where we play! Make sure you have google chrome, opera GX or another browser that allows you to use Roll20 without issues! If you need any help, don't be afraid to message me on SPG or Discord!

Homebrew rules
You gain 1 extra skill, language or tool proficiency for each +1 you have to Intelligence. You don't lose proficiencies for having a minus. Grappling a creature, gives the creature the restrained condition. Making grappling more useful. Potions are a bonus action to drink, or an action to feed to someone. You may use DnD2024 rules for your character, but we'll be handling 5e rules for the campaign itself. Silvery Barbs is Banned!

How Rush creates a safe table
Safety is very important to me as a GM. For this reason, I like to discuss possible triggers and how to avoid them in a session 0 or otherwise in a personal call before session start. I keep my discord DMs open so players can reach me even during the game if they aren't comfortable with something and you as player are allowed to pause the game if you ever feel uneasy!
