About the adventure
In this campaign, you will get to explore the world of Thra as it was long before the Dark Age of Thra and the Age of Restence, which came before it. Will you embark on a grand adventure to fight the Araithum? Will you seek out the Mystics and their wisdom in these confusing times? Are you yourself a Mystic or a Skeksis? Do you start the first flames of dissent from your new skeksi rulers? Well, you will only find out by joining our adventure, so what are you waiting for? The spotlight awaits you! For those who are unfamiliar with the dark crystal: “The world of Thra is a magical realm nurtured by Mother Ulga, a wise and powerful being. This is the world you call home, the land you were raised and the land you explore. The Skeksis and the mystics, on the other hand, are strangers from an ethereal other realm. The Skeksis, with the sudden and uncharacteristic blessing of Mother Ulga, have taken charge of your home, Thra. The mystics, however, have taken residence in the far reaches of the world to study and to explore, gathering all the secrets that Thra has to offer. The Skeksis have promised all of Thra a prosperous new empire; however, there lies one complication: a civilization that opposes the new Skeksi command, the Araithum. A war is brewing now, between the Araithum hive mind and the citizens of Thra.”

Creating your character
When will I build my Character? We will build your characters during a session 0. While most of the party will be level 1 at the start of the campaign, if you join mid-way through, you will be whatever level the rest of the party is. What can I play? You can play any Class, Ancestry, or Community published by Daggerheart; the only thing required of you is to reflovor whatever you choose as something that could fit in the world of Jim Henson's The Dark Crystal. You could reflavor the Giant ancestry as Skeksis, the Faerie as a Female Gelfling, or the humble Halfling as Poddling.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
For this game, you will need a general character concept, a Discord and a Roll20 account, along with quite space for you to focus.
What Gabriel brings to the table
With my games, I bring my acting and storytelling skills to the forefront, while using quality battle maps for combat, ambient music to set the mood, and sound effects to really immerse you, the players!
Homebrew rules
I don't use any homebrew in the campaign, other than some reflavoring thing to make them feel right at home in the realm of Thra. If you want to bring some homebrew into this game, you are more than welcome to, but I will want to look at it first before hand and have the ability to adjust it if need be.

How Gabriel creates a safe table
We will have a session 0 at the start of the campaign. Players will also have the ability to leave whenever they need to. At the end of each session, we will have a short debrief to make sure everyone had a good time, and if not, what can be done to make the next session more enjoyable.
