About the adventure
Fragile Peace is a dystopian cyberpunk setting set in the year 2062, where advanced technology and societal collapse dominate the world. Behind the scenes, a hidden war for humanity’s souls unfolds, waged by angels, demons, and warriors empowered by Gaia. Players take on the roles of cyber-enhanced operatives, spiritual warriors, or those who have inadvertently become part of this supernatural conflict. Navigating a world of corporate greed, shadowy alliances, and ancient powers, players must decide where their loyalties lie in this fragile balance between technology and the spiritual forces vying for control.

About me
Hello, adventurers! My name is Jason Richardson, and I’ve been immersed in the world of RPGs for the past 40 years. Early on, it became clear that my friends weren’t keen on stepping into the GM role, so I took the reins—and I’ve been behind the screen ever since! With over four decades of experience as a Game Master, I bring a wealth of passion and creativity to every game. Beyond RPGs, I also hold a degree in Illustration, which often leads to players asking me to draw or paint their characters. My approach to games is highly visual, making my sessions immersive and cinematic. I thrive on crafting player-centric, narrative-driven stories that engage and excite. Let’s make some unforgettable adventures together—bring it on!

Creating your character
Will session 0 be free? Unfortunately, No. But if we get to the end of the week 1 session and everything is GROOVY, Then I will refund week 1. This is to protect my time in the getting-to-know-you bit, Character Creation will be done together at session Zero. This will be done in the GAME and shouldn't take long at all, After this point in their own time, I will expect players to bring a character picture from any source or hand-drawn, and a backstory. The character sheets will be present on a live Google Sheets Document.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
I run my games using the OTHERSCAPE RPG ruleset, and you can find the FREE Quickstart for this system on their website. Players will need a MIC and WEBCAM as well as a DISCORD account (which is FREE).

How Jason Richardson creates a safe table
This Game contains elements of HORROR, Demons and supernatural themes it also contains pseudo-religious elements with visceral combat description notes suitable for the faint of heart, this of course is tempered against comedic moments that always creep into most games. Blood and Gore are commonplace, SAFETY TOOL: In my games, the most important safety tool for your use is the Discord private message feature. I personally have been DMing weekly using DISCORD since 2016. That’s quite a lot of hours gaming and so far PM the GM seems to work. also, note I use an Open Door policy so that anyone can leave or take a break from the game for their own safety and well-being without being judged. All that is required is to do is DM me just to say you need a TIME-OUT. and if there are any Big Issues that can be talked through in an honest and respectful manner between myself and the player. For my games, they go for 3 to 4 hours so having a short built-in break about halfway through is essential and is recommended to allow people to stay focused or for other needs like getting food/drink during this time. I award bonus Attention just for having your camera on during the session, because seeing each other's smiles, eye rolls, laughter and goofy faces is all part of the experience, and make it pretty close to the feeling of us all being together. However, since some people are shy, it's definitely not required.
