About the adventure

The Dragon's have waged war against humanity, attempting to wipe out those who would stand against them while enslaving what remained. However, once they were close to victory, a God came down from the Heaven's and chose a champion. This champion would hence forth be known as Immortal King Sen. The tides turned against the Dragons, and now only a scarce few remain. You, and your party's task, are to hunt down the last remaining powerful dragon's one by one. In this one-shot with a high replay value, you along with other adventurers must hunt down the last of the Dragon's. They will not go down easily, however. In the beginning of every session, you will roll to see which Dragon, be it chromatic or metallic, you will face. Each dragon has it's unique lair, and corresponding dungeon. That's right, there will be an actual Dungeon, with an actual Dragon at the end of it. With variations to each as well! Every delving into this one-shot will have a different journey. A different Dragon, and it will up to YOU to decide how you want to do this. In each dungeon or lair, you can explore each and every room or chamber to find potential advantages you can use against the Dragon, rescue potential prisoners, or disrupt rituals that would make the encounter that much harder. Or you could do none of that, and go straight to the Dragon themselves. You get what want in the end, an epic battle to the death against a formidable foe!

About me

Hey there! I am a very new GM, I have minimal acting and voice acting skills, but what I am known for is doing my best and I am pretty sure I am good at improvising when something goes awry. Also, I am a writer soon to be publishing his own books. All honesty here folks, I am a very new GM, although I do know most of the rules and decent amount of lore for the game and the DND 5E system. My philosophy is "If people are having fun, then clearly something is going right."

What Rios brings to the table

I am a big supporter of the Rule of Cool. Even if it might not technically be within the bounds of the rules as written, I still think if something cool is possible from bending those rules, within a reasonable boundary, almost anything is possible! I am an amateur at voice acting, but I will definitely attempt to do a different voice for every NPC and monster that you will encounter! Combat is my forte, I will make combat fun, and reward player creativity. I don't believe in locking out player characters from turn, so I do not allow monsters to use any paralysis or stunning abilities. Or anything that will render the player unable to have a turn. I believe that it just isn't fun to not be able to play the game, and so I remove that factor altogether! Feel free to use those tactics against my monsters, though. I will incorporate a music bot for discord to play music during exploration and especially during combat! I will also be using my webcam so everyone can see me speak and make expressions. If you want to do the same, then go for it! If not, then that's fine too.

Safety

How Rios creates a safe table

After each session, I will ask everyone how they feel! If there was or is anything that comes up in the session that you wish to talk about or want to be excluded, then feel free to let me know. I want my table to be safe for everyone! There will be a break at the hour and a half mark for 10 minutes so everyone has a chance to use the bathroom, get a drink, a snack, etc. Also at the end of each session, I will ask for any final thoughts and/or criticism on how the game was run.
