About the adventure
The village of Elmore was believed to be safe from any dangers thanks to the existence of a magical relic deep underground, which served as a lure to any creature that could present a danger. But when the mayor is suddenly attacked in the woods, that safety is put into question. As more and more dangerous creatures appear in the woods, the villagers realize that help might not come soon enough. A daring group of villagers must rise up and venture into the Plover Caves, a massive maze of strange underground passages, in order to fix the issue with the lure and save the village. Unfortunately, the town has too few resources and the caves run too deep for them to be able to carry all the food they'll need to survive. Fortunately, it turns out some of these monsters are just delicious. -- The game will have a group of villagers, farmers, and other commoners forced to venture into dangerous and mysterious areas to save their village. While this may sound like a harrowing situation, and to some extent it is, the game is more lighthearted and focused on comedy, adventure, and exploration, as the heroes learn new ways of using the ingredients found in the creatures they defeat, as well as the strange and new biomes they explore in the vast caves.

About me
Hey, everyone. After many years playing and GMing various types of games, I've decided to delve deeper into the hobby. I currently have my own website with RPG-related content, along with some board game goodness. I'm also working on a DnD book and some other stuff that I'm super excited to share with you all in the future. I have experience with many different systems. From the classic D&D to the edgy World of Darkness. From the futuristic Cypher to the gloriously queer Thirsty Sword Lesbians. I've really played it all (except for Gurps...that one gave me a headache). As a GM, I very much value roleplay and fun, with a good touch of chaos. Metagame is nearly useless in my games, as many monsters will have different abilities and other surprises I'll throw in. That medusa? She's a cursed human and kept her paladin levels. That hag is genuinely just a salesperson (just ignore some of the creepier products). Oh, and the dragon breathes hallucinogenic gas instead of fire. Good luck.

Creating your character
Character creation will happen during session zero with all characters starting at level 1. The sheets themselves are created and stored through Demiplane and/or StartPlaying. If needed, I can assist through this process.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
You will need accounts on Discord and Roll20. An account on Demiplane is also helpful, as it is where the sheets are stored.
What Felipe Lopez brings to the table
As a GM, I try to balance between going for Rule of Coll and Rules as Written. My real focus is on everyone at the game having fun and engaging in the story we're creating. I also will have ambient music, a variety of maps (both made by me or purchased), and a story created as a collaboration between players and GM.

How Felipe Lopez creates a safe table
During session 0 we will discuss the importance of and use of lines and veils, as well as how to use the X card if needed. All players will receive a document to fill out in which they will list all their lines and veils. This is done in a way that the answers will be anonymous in an effort to ensure people's comfort with more delicate subjects. I would also like to clarify that most of the content warnings can be discussed and might not be included in the game, safe for Death (usually from the monsters), Mutilation of Corpses (as in harvesting ingredients from creatures), Small Spaces (due to the caves), and Violence (combat).
