About me
𝘓𝘪𝘧𝘦 𝘣𝘦𝘧𝘰𝘳𝘦 𝘥𝘦𝘢𝘵𝘩, 𝘴𝘵𝘳𝘦𝘯𝘨𝘵𝘩 𝘣𝘦𝘧𝘰𝘳𝘦 𝘸𝘦𝘢𝘬𝘯𝘦𝘴𝘴, 𝘫𝘰𝘶𝘳𝘯𝘦𝘺 𝘣𝘦𝘧𝘰𝘳𝘦 𝘱𝘢𝘯𝘤𝘢𝘬𝘦𝘴 - The Lopen, Oathbringer: Book 3 of The Stormlight Archive Hi, my name is Kenan and I've been GMing games since 2004. My #1 goal as a GM is to enable players to craft the story they desire and create the glue to allow all their expectations to mesh. I want sessions to be memorable, exciting and powerful but, above else, I want them to be YOURS. I am open to GMing basically anything outside of D&D. I really enjoy trying out and crafting stories with new systems: currently my favorites Fate, Pathfinder 2e, Draw Steel, FFG's Star Wars and the Cosmere RPG, but this list often changes! I make a point to listen to my players and try to incorporate any of their cool ideas into the games, so please speak out!

Creating your character
Characters will be chosen from a pool of available options from the first session, with lots of customization available! We can optionally also start the campaign from the beginner game.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Players should have a microphone and ideally headphones (or at least some mechanism to avoid background noise intruding in the session). There is no need to know the rules as you will learn them as you go! Players must have a FoundryVTT free account, as well as a Discord account which will be the main means of communication for the module outside of game sessions.
What Kenan brings to the table
I will have the FoundryVTT module ready with all the tokens, maps, art assets, music and any necessary elements for the sessions. I believe the most important thing for this Campaign specifically is getting the right tone and feeling balancing the creeping dread innate to the plot with more lighthearted moments, and as such will focus on these narrative beats and might at times handwave some of the rules in favor of a smoother experience. However we may talk about this in Session 0 and adopt a different focus if that is your preference!

How Kenan creates a safe table
We will talk about an overview of the module and player expectations in Session 0, as well as go over the Lines and Veils (we'll keep them in a Google Drive document I'll provide). The document may be expanded on at any time during future sessions and if at any point during a session you feel uncomfortable, feel free to mention it however you prefer and we will address it and/or call for a break. The campaign will at some times be more focused on tactical combat and at others be more focused on heavy roleplaying, so keep in mind this will vary from session to session.
