About the adventure

Monsters have always prowled the dark regions of the world. And where there are monsters, there are always those who must rise up to the occasion to battle them. Amid the hill forts and forests of Bronze Age Britain, such hunters face creatures from the deepest and darkest of legends. Gods watch, chieftains vie for supremacy, and the shadow of Rome looms over the seas to the south. Will you heed the call and stop the creatures that the nobility ignores? Will you dare draw a blade of gleaming bronze and stare evil in the eyes in ancient forests? If so, then welcome, Hunter. The common folk have need of you...

About me

Hello! I'm a laid-back and fun-loving gal who enjoys playing and running TTRPG's. I've been running games since I was in High School, and continue to do so today, across a wide range of systems, but with a particular love for indie games. Many games that I run either feature some slice-of-life or have a strong roleplaying focus, with a smattering of some comedy and combat here and there. All of my games are LGBTQIA+ friendly, and often bear plenty of representation across the gender spectrum as well as the neurodivergent spectrum, as well as disability representation. Additionally, I do not run any games with the assistance of AI, so you can count on every game being lovingly crafted by organic hand! Outside of gaming, I have a passion for coffee, writing, and fiber arts. So what do you say? Shall we brew up some coffee and roll up a character?

Character creation

Creating your character

Playbooks will be available for players to choose from (with the exception of the Chosen and the Divine). If needed, the GM is willing to guide character creation ahead of session. If a player wishes to have art of their characters, they are welcome to put together art from Picrew or commissions. However, no AI art will be accepted!

What to expect

Preparing for the session

The most important thing for players to have is a working Discord account and microphone. No VTT's are used for this game. If a player wishes to have art of their characters, they are welcome to put together art from Picrew or commissions. However, no AI art will be accepted!

What Morgana M. brings to the table

Blank playbooks will be made available for the players, as will a Discord server specific to this setting/one-shot series. Rule of Cool is embraced, while all games include a healthy dose of real-world historical information and science! Additionally, there will be no content that is generated by artificial intelligence - this is a non-AI game!

Homebrew rules

We will be utilizing Medieval Monster of the Week for these one-shots. It is not required to know or have this MotW hack in order to enjoy this game. Additionally, the DM's cat may meow during the course of the session, which earns a +1 bonus to the player's choice of roll once per session!

Safety

How Morgana M. creates a safe table

Prior to the start of each session, I will have a discussion with the group as a whole, to ascertain key triggers which will be kept in mind and expected to be respected by all players at the table without exception, and to ensure that all players are made aware of the open-door policy. Every session will include a 15-minute break (not included in charged time) to decompress and/or have a bio-break. During the course of the session, as the need arises, any players who encounter a trigger may either speak up per Luxton Technique, or to take a break as needed, per open-door policy.
