About the adventure
PLEASE NOTE: This campaign will start in the new year. Beneath the Red Sky is a Cyberpunk Red campaign with a sandbox feel, which will largely be dictated by actions taken by the players and their corresponding consequences. After an initial mission bringing the group together, the campaign will revolve around actions taken by characters, events that come up during The Lifepath process, and interests shown by players. Set in the year 2045, in the aftermath of the Fourth Corporate War. It will explore the lives of a group of Edgerunners brought together for a simple job. Simple jobs are hard to come by these days. With the world economy broken, and the once titled “City of Dreams” now in tatters, the people on the street do whatever it takes to survive. The law of the jungle is back to reigning over humanity, and in the Time of Red being the strongest means having the best cybernetics, the best weapon, the best contacts.

About me
Hello there! I’m Simão, a Portuguese actor and professional Game Master. I have been playing TTRPGs since 2017, and I have led many projects and initiatives with the goal of opening up the hobby and community. I am very passionate about telling stories as a group. The element of collaborative storytelling is what pulled me in to TTRPGs in the first place and I feel very confident about my ability to guide players into the best version of the stories they want to tell.

Creating your character
Characters will be created in a free session 0. We will be going through Cyberpunk Red’s extensive character creator called Lifepath.
What to expect

You will need Discord, Roll20 and Demiplane accounts.
What Simão Vaz brings to the table
During play, you can expect ambient music and, when called for, reference images of the scene being played out. Each character will have their voice and accent, making it easier for players to know who is addressing them. I will also be providing images and artwork for said characters when available. All the images showed in my games are strictly non-AI made. Due to the system, Cyberpunk can be quite the tactical game when it comes to combat. That doesn't mean that if you want to do something wacky and outside the box you can't. In fact, I embrace that type of creativity from the players at my table. If you want to do something unaccounted for in the rules, go for it! It will be my job to figure out how to referee it.

How Simão Vaz creates a safe table
During session 0 we will discuss campaign expectations as well as our Lines and Veils. During play you can expect an open door policy as well as a scheduled break roughly at the 90 minute/2 hour mark. There will also be an X Card policy. After every session we will have some debrief and decompression, as well s as an opportunity to do Stars and Wishes.
