About the adventure
In the wake of the old gods’ exile and the rise of a new pantheon, the world of Thalia has entered an age of progress, ambition, and uncertainty. Magic—once the lifeblood of civilization—is now outlawed, feared as a chaotic force too dangerous to be wielded freely. In its place, science and technology have surged forward, giving rise to steam-powered innovation, mechanized weapons, and industrial expansion. Now, the eyes of the world turn toward Auroria, a newly discovered continent brimming with untapped resources, treacherous landscapes, and secrets long buried beneath the soil. The bustling city of Terranova, the first major colonial settlement, serves as a beacon of opportunity, ruled by Duke Magnus Everhart—a powerful and enigmatic ruler with a vested interest in shaping the future of this land. Yet, the frontier is far from tamed. The wilds are plagued by monstrous beasts, from leviathans along the stormy coasts to ancient hydras lurking in the marshlands. Indigenous tribes fight to preserve their homeland against encroaching settlers, while lawless mercenaries, rogue inventors, and fugitive magic-users seek refuge in the uncharted wilderness. Amidst this chaos, the party steps forward as pioneers, outlaws, lawmen, or revolutionaries, drawn into the heart of Auroria’s conflicts. Will they secure prosperity for their people, carve out a new legacy, or exploit the land for their own gain? Will they uphold the Duke’s iron rule, or will they become champions of freedom against a growing empire? With steam-powered weaponry, black powder rifles, and clockwork automatons replacing swords and spells, and with new alliances forged and old rivalries reignited, the fate of Auroria—and the next chapter of history—rests in the hands of those daring enough to claim it.

About me
I still remember sitting in a library reading a book while I heard the sounds of dice being rolled, I saw a table nearby and they were playing D&D 3rd edition. I remembered playing a couple of sessions of 2e with some friends, but it was so complicated, I asked about the game and before I knew it I had a character and was playing D&D, that was almost 30 years ago now. Then when the party needed a new DM I threw my hat into the ring, I started creating a world that I would continue to use with other groups as time went on. Then the pandemic happened, but my love for D&D remained, I started playing using MRPG and over time recreated my world once again. I learned to use Inkarnate, Roll 20, and D&D beyond as well as discord dropping play by post games for Discord voice chat rooms. I have been playing D&D now for as long as I can remember, I host games for upwards of 20 players off and on again in various games like Marvel 616, Avatar Legends as well as playing in games like Bunkers and bad asses, Fallout and more, but my true love is D&D. So now I am a professional content creator for Facebook and share my hobbies on YouTube as well helping me to shrink the world and interact with more and more people all the time. I feel like I am taking the next step, from taking my Hobbie and turning it into a career.

How Patrick “Leon Jenkins” Mooney creates a safe table
Before Session 0, I provide the Monte Cook RPG Consent Checklist so players can privately share what content they’re comfortable with or want to avoid. I also give players a direct way to contact me if something makes them uncomfortable. In Session 0, we’ll choose a safe word together so anyone can immediately pause or stop a scene without feeling rude or disruptive. These tools ensure the table stays respectful, comfortable, and fun for everyone.
