About the adventure
A baleful curse has settled over the world, ensnaring every departing soul and severing the cycle of life itself. The dead cannot be restored. The living cannot bear children. Fields wither, gardens rot, and an unnatural stillness hangs over once-vibrant lands. Only the land known as Chult stands apart. Dense with choking jungles, sheer escarpments, smoking volcanoes, and ruins lost to time, the remote peninsula remains curiously untouched. Scholars and priests alike suspect that the source of the Death Curse lies buried in those forests. Annihilation is a complete re-imagining of the classic Tomb of Annihilation campaign, preserving the core story while expanding the scope, danger, and narrative depth. Expect overhauled locations, new side quests, and enhanced encounters. Designed for a group of four to six characters beginning at 1st level, the adventure supports progression to level 12 and beyond. Whether you are approaching Dungeons & Dragons for the first time or returning with years of experience, this campaign provides a thrilling, atmospheric experience that rewards careful thinking as much as bold action. Be warned adventurer, for Chult is unforgiving, deadly monsters, lethal traps and perilous obstacles await. Preparation, courage and a little luck may mean the difference between life and death.

About me
Greetings adventurers! I am a professional Game Master with over seven years of experience running TTRPGs, including Dungeons & Dragons 5th Edition. My sessions are crafted to deliver immersive, story-rich experiences, enhanced by curated soundtracks, high-resolution maps, and evocative visual aids. Epic fantasy, gritty realism or wild-magic shenanigans, I'll tailor the tone and pace of the world to suit your group. A tinkerer at heart, I will regularly build custom content to fit your character and the setting. House rules, one-off mechanics, or even entirely new sub-classes, I prioritize fun, creativity, and flow over strict RAW interpretations. If it’s awesome and it makes sense in the fiction, we’ll find a way to make it work. At my table, everyone deserves to feel welcome, respected and safe. I actively foster an inclusive environment for players of all backgrounds, identities and experience levels. For me, Session Zero discussions, clear Lines and Veils, and open communication is standard practice. As with all things, role-play is better when everyone is having fun! Whether you're brand new to TTRPGS or a veteran looking for a serious campaign, all are welcome.

Homebrew rules
Fast Potions: You may drink health potions as a bonus action. If instead you choose to spend an action, you restore the maximum health possible. Death Saves: When dying, you may perform an action in addition to making your death saves. However, doing so will accrue exhaustion after the fight has ended. The Death Curse: While the Death Curse continues to engulf the world, the following effects are in play: . Spells or effects that create new life (e.g., *conjure animals*, *goodberry*, *reincarnate*, *create food and water*) automatically fail or produce sterile, hollow results with no nutritional value. . All attempts to conceive fail. . Any spell that breathes life into the dead (including *revivify*, *raise dead*, *resurrection*, and *true resurrection*) automatically fails. The Death Curse does not affect the workings of *speak with dead*, *animate undead* or similar magic. . When a humanoid dies anywhere on the planet, its soul is captured by an irresistible force to some hidden location, where it is promptly destroyed by means unknown. As a consequence, anyone who dies during the Death Curse is denied an afterlife, their existence snuffed out forever.

How Froondar creates a safe table
We use Line and Veils to ensure that everyone is comfortable throughout the campaign. In session zero, all players will have the opportunity to privately fill out a consent form listing a wide range of possible triggers. Select Veil for topics you don't want to explicitly see, and Line for topics you don't even want referenced. Players will of course be able to change their Lines and Veils at any point during the campaign. Upon session end, I will often hang around for around 30 minutes, to check up with everyone and make sure we are all still having fun.
