About the adventure

In a world teetering on the edge of destruction, the ancient lich-god Vecna has risen once more, his sinister plans set in motion to bring about the end of all things. The very fabric of reality begins to unravel as Vecna's dark influence spreads, corrupting the land and twisting the minds of even the most stalwart defenders. Heroes from all corners of the realm must unite, delving into forgotten ruins, deciphering ancient prophecies, and facing unimaginable horrors to stop the mad lich before his apocalyptic vision becomes reality. The fate of the world hangs in the balance—will you rise to the challenge or succumb to the Eve of Ruin?

About me

Hi! I'm Ferry and I've been DMing for almost 5 years now. My go-to systems are Pathfinder and D&D 5e, and I especially love the customiszation and creativity this hobby brings to the table. I'm convinced that a good technical base is important to better enjoy this lovely hobby, so what I can promise you is that I have perfected my knowledge of the system as well as the VTT to ensure the smoothest possible experience for everyone. I use Foundry VTT with modules and Discord for voice. Webcam optional, but please have a good microphone.

Character creation

Creating your character

Characters will be made using Foundry VTT. If you're more comfortable using another means of character creation, that's completely fine, I'll import the info on the VTT for you. Along with the level 1 character, please also provider a short background and a picture of the character itself. If you have any special idea or request, please feel free to let me know! I can't promise I'll accept all requests, but I'll try to find a good middle ground when not possible. Now, for the technical stuff: Level 10 Official WotC books only All humanoids races allowed No Custom Lineage (custom made race, changing your bonuses is ok) Any class you want Point buy 27 for ability scores (Min 8, max 15 before race modifiers) Feats allowed Any mundane equipment + two uncommon or rare magic items, chosen with GM approval

What to expect

Preparing for the session

Webcam optional, microphone needed. A mid-tier PC is recommend for Foundry VTT. You'll need a Discord account, but no Foundry VTT account, I'll provider you with a link to enter the game Characters don't need to be made in advance, I encourage you to attend the session zero first. You don't need to be a rules genius, just to know enough to use your sheet, everything else I'll help when needed!

Safety

How Ferry creates a safe table

A through session 0 will be in Place and questionnaires will be sent to players to discuss reciprocal expectations, dos and don'ts and topics that could be sensitive. With that being said, there is always the option to change your mind, in which case you can feel free to contact me privately or we can address any issues right after the game in a little debriefing session. No problem is too insignificant to be talked about if it Causes discomtort or uneasiness, so open communication is encouraged. Finally, if I can predict that the following session will have particularly problematic content, a warning will be given to players, so they can ask for it to be removed.
