About the adventure

(version francaise de l'aventure disponible) Welcome to Waterdeep, the Crown of the North, where a wondrous tale of urban adventure is about to unfold. Our story begins with the gathering of adventurers at the Yawning Portal Inn and Tavern. Volothamp Geddarm, the famous explorer and raconteur, has a quest for them—one that entangles the characters in a bitter conflict between two nefarious organizations. If the adventurers complete his quest, Volo rewards them handsomely. Yet a much greater prize lies hidden somewhere in the City of Splendors, waiting to be claimed. Waterdeep: Dragon Heist is a Dungeons & Dragons adventure designed for characters starting at 1st level. By the end of the story, the characters will be at least 5th level.

About me

i have been playing dungeons and dragon since i was 16 and dabbled in vampire the masquerade for 2 or three sessions.then five years ago i got into dungeons and dragons 5e. since then i have been dming and playing regularly at a minimum of 2 sessions a week. i have finished curse of strahd as a player. i tried curse of strahd as a dm my first time out and i got a knowledge of the module. i finished water deep dragon heist and descent into avernus,i am currently running dungeon of the mad mage and i have run so many weird little oneshots that ended up lasting 2 or 3 sessions i cant remember how many. my main platform is roll20 as most of my purchased content is there. also i run games in french for the french speaking players. i don't like homebrew or else it has to be accepted by everyone at my table. i use discord to talk to my table. i would love to start being more proffesional about this.

Character creation

Creating your character

we will have a minimum one hour session 0 where you build your character with the other participants. this starts at level 1 so its not going to be a very complicated process and i can guide you no matter your experience in your character creations.

What to expect

Preparing for the session

have a discord account and message me on start playing (here) so I can invite you to my discord server for my "start playing" games, a roll20 and foundry account ready and familiarity with d&d beyond is always good. otherwise just be ready to play.

What Sorcerersupremo brings to the table

i can offer (at my players discretion) battle music cool visual effects on foundry forge vtt. i have a roll20 account with dynamic lighting.i have several reference books on my roll20 compendium but also a knowledge of where you can find any rule you would like to refer to for free. i have gone through this module once already and i feel i can offer a complete experience completely compatible with current dnd rules.

Homebrew rules

we can discuss optional and homebrew rules on session 0

Safety

How Sorcerersupremo creates a safe table

first i want no real names at the table, second i will make sure that everyone respects everyone even at the cost of an expulsion end a refund. i want what is best for a group not an individual.
