About the adventure

Lancer is a game with a heavy focus on mech combat. Solstice rain is a multi part campaign created as am intro to Lancer. This is a beginner friendly game meant for players with zero experience with the Lancer rules set, though it can still be plenty of fun for players already familiar with the system.

About me

I have been a GM for almost 15+ years now and am beginning my professional GM journey. I run inclusive games for all types with a focus on fun. I mainly run Lancer modules, though in my spare time I play a lot of Blades in the Dark.

Safety

How Ginger GM creates a safe table

☆ Lines: - rape ☆ Veils: - graphic depictions of injury - torture - romance/sex ☆ Note on turn length and pauses: This game is for beginners, as such there may be times when the game slows down to help explain concepts to players. While I will work to keep these moments to a minimum, I ask that players respect each other in their learning journeys. ☆ High combat low roleplay: Lancer allows for some role-play but not a ton compared to other systems. While you can come up with detailed and elaborate back stories for your player characters, they will almost certainly not come up in this game and you should hold no expectation that I will try to work them in. ☆ Combat will (hopefully) be challenging: Lancer is a tactical mech game. I will not run the enemies as brainless hordes. They will fight back and they will try to win. My goal is to present a worthy challenge for players to overcome, but this does require players to work as a team and not just charge in head first. This is still a beginner friendly game however, and I will happily offer advice and guidance during the game when requested. ☆ Table rules: - 1. Players are to treat everyone at the table with respect. No bigotry, sexism, or just being an entitled jerk. If you break one of these rules you will be dropped from the game. - 2. If you miss a game that is fine. If we have at least 3 players who wish to still play that week, the game will continue on and your character will fade to the background and be puppeted for combat purposes. If we have less than 3 players willing to play then we will skip the game that week. - 3. Consistently sabotaging the party or refusing to work with them will be considered being an entitled jerk. See tables rules 1.
