About the adventure

Your next assignment arrived not as an order, but as a whisper—thin on detail and thick with foreboding. You are summoned to the edge of a remote village absent from most maps, drawn by the request of a name cloaked in legend: Ozzy Ozzthorne, the once-great bard whose songs shaped kingdoms and whose silences now stir rumors. He seeks aid with a task unspoken—a debt long owed, a vow unfulfilled. Beneath his ancestral manor, sealed behind ancient wards and sorrowful tunes, lies the Ozzthorne family crypt. Ozzy himself cannot enter, cursed by some forgotten rite, bound to the threshold by forces he refuses to name. What waits below is no mere tomb. Secrets slumber in the dark: forbidden compositions, fiend-haunted chambers, and ghostly concert halls where music never truly died. Arcane riddles wound in melody guard truths that were buried for a reason. One final promise weighs on Ozzy’s soul. But in unearthing it, will you uncover something best left lost? The strings of fate are plucked. The last note has yet to sound. ___________________________________ This adventure is tailor-made for both newcomers and veterans of Dungeons & Dragons 5e (2024 edition). Characters will start at 5th level for this adventure. **NOTE: This is a regulated story to ensure time accuracy within the allocated time frame specified. As such, this is not a sandbox-oriented adventure as you may experience within a campaign. My adventures contain 3 parts - Opening, Adventure, and Epilogue. To meet expectations of players participating, I may make adjustments as we play to meet the expectations players have signed up for, which includes managing the time so it doesn't end too early or take too long than was expected.

About me

I’ve walked the realms since the days of first edition, back in the misty age of the 80s—but that’s not the tale you’ve come to hear, is it? What you truly seek is the experience. Take a seat by the fire and lend me your ear, for I see the same restless spark in your eyes that lit mine all those years ago. If you’ve ever lost yourself in the pages of a fantasy tome, or watched heroes clash steel beneath storm-dark skies, then you already know the call. That deep, undeniable yearning to step into the story—not just read it. To feel the weight of a sword in your hand, or trace your fingers over the brittle vellum of an ancient spellbook. To behold mountains that scrape the heavens, and to ride snarling beasts through emerald forests older than time. Yes... I know that call well. No more waiting. The winds of Faerûn stir once more, and destiny is calling your name. Let's go...

What Starwood Adventures (Oscar) brings to the table

I use music and sound effects to help build the experience. The focus is always on story first, mechanics second. I take character backgrounds into account where it makes sense in the story if I can. Most of my games will always aspire to provide an equal balance of every areas of enjoyment - combat, puzzles, and role play. I try to ensure there is something in every adventure for everyone, and will alway try to ensure everyone is getting attention and being heard. I love VTT like all of you, and for me, it's a passion I want to share and allow others to express as they wish.
