About me
My name is Craig and I'm from Glasgow, Scotland. I started paying role playing games a number of years ago which led to an obsession with creating stories, worlds and making memories with friends old and new. My aim is to create collaborative and immersive stories with my players and I'm always just as excited to see where the story goes as my players are. It's important to me that everyone gets their moment to shine and I will always do my best to make sure everyone is having the best time they can when playing. I am also more than happy to people who are embarking on their first adventure and make them feel as comfortable as I can by answering any questions they have throughout our games. My games are a safe space for everyone regardless of gender, orientation, religion, nationality and anything in between. I have an open door policy, so if you ever feel like there is anything you want to discuss with me, please do not hesitate to reach out and I will do everything I can to rectify the situation. Now let's roll some dice and create some crazy stories!
View Profile →Character creation
Creating your character
• Characters can either be brought to me for approval or created alongside myself during session 0 if assistance is needed or if you would simply prefer to do so. • Preferably character sheets will be on D&D Beyond for easy access by both myself and the player. This will also ensure no one is being untrue when it comes to rolls and stats. • Each character will be given a secret that ties them into the story. The nature of this secret can be discussed during session 0. • Unless agreed otherwise, we will be using standard array to keep things simple. • All official Wizards of the Coast content is allowed, except from Spelljammer. Homebrew is subject to approval. • Characters should run from levels 1-12. • Strictly no evil characters or PVP as it takes away from the nature of the adventure. • We will be using 2024 Rules.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
• Create a free D&D Beyond account • Create a free Discord account • Create account and join game on Foundry • Have an approved character by session 0 • Have a basic understanding of the rules (free on D&D Beyond) • Have access to a mic/headset (webcam is optional, but preferred)
What Craig brings to the table
• I utilise things such as music, NPC voices and sound effects to immerse you into the world as much as possible. Foundry will be used for maps. • I also create tokens for my players using art that is either provided by the player or created by myself on their behalf. • Along with all of this I will also invite you to our private Discord server to not only help run the game, but also share any art, visual aids or handouts that may pop up during the adventure.
Homebrew rules
• Critical hits use max damage + extra damage roll. • Nat 1s in combat will see the player roll a d100 for a random scenario to occur • Potions are a bonus action to drink, but an action to offer to another player. • Bringing a player character back from death will see the player in question rolling a d20 for something that has changed about them as a result of them cheating death.

How Craig creates a safe table
Prioritising the safety and well-being of players is paramount. Players are encouraged to request breaks if necessary and to communicate any concerns with the Game Master. Players are provided with Lines & Veils sheets before Session 0 for completion. This is not a necessity, but if a player feels it appropriate they are more than welcome to fill it out. Additionally, there will be a post-game chat with players to ensure that personal boundaries and comfort levels were respected.
