About the adventure
A beginner friendly dungeon crawl for level one characters, this oneshot is a great introduction to 5e! You will be provided with ample opportunity to creatively use your skills to try to survive the deadly cockatrice!! There will be about a 50/50 split of combat and exploration and 100% fun! Plot Hook: You have been asked to check out a magical cave that is a few hours travel from Lusken from what you have heard treasure hunters, explorers, and underground wanderers are drawn to seek this mysterious site—and are never seen again.

About me
Hello! I'm Aaron (He/Him), I have been playing D&D for over 10 years and GMing for 5 years. Things to expect from me as a GM: I will work with you 1 on 1 to build and flesh out your character, even if I'm running a one-shot I will include nods to your characters background/backstory and some of our favorite fantasy books and films. I focus on running one-shots, short form campaigns, pickup games, and providing a safe environment for you to play how you want! Creating your character
For character creation feel free to make what you want from official materials (Don't mix 2014 with 2024), if you need tools to build your character I can provide those. I am also available to one on one help you build if your not used to 5e or just find something confusing. Stats are ether Standard Array or rolled in the Roll20 chat (4D6 drop the lowest). When building a character please do your best to keep me in the loop!!

Before joining please make sure you have a Discord, Roll20 and (if you need access to character building tools) DnD Beyond accounts!

Combat and exploration will be the focus of this dungeon so i will be providing vivid descriptions and intense combat all supported by a hand picked soundtrack!

Drinking a potion is a bonus action and Hunters Mark is not concentration.

How Aaron creates a safe table
I will always have a safety deck in the bottom right-hand side of the VTT and you will be able to select which card you need to use and display it on the screen. In the event someone is made uncomfortable, we will pause/go on break while i discuss the issues with those who felt triggered/uncomfortable and find a way to ensure it does not happen again. In the event that someone is immediately feeling unsafe and need to step away from the table, for reasons at the table or IRL, they can with no judgment and no questions asked as i set the expectation that if it is an issue the table that players reach out to me so we can resolve the issue.
