About the adventure
Hail and welcome weary adventurer! This is a beginner friendly level 1-2 short form campaign that serves as a good introduction for new players. I will often be using RoC (Rule of Cool) to foster a more creative environment to explore your character and the world around them. Safety/Comfortability is super important to me, so that being said i have a 0 tolerance policy on sexism, harassment or bullying. D&D is for everyone!! Plot Hook: Six months ago Elaria Feywing, known throughout the Kingdom of Skylark as The Master, took all of you in as pupils. The old elf woman’s skills in magic, combat, and survival are legendary. She trained Marigold the Brave, who slew the infamous great blue dragon Diraxthese, and Blouton Buttertree, who closed the Demon Portal of Nargoth, and so many other famous heroes. Of all the would-be treasure seekers, mercenaries, and do-gooders that came across her doorstep begging for her wisdom, it was you who were selected by Elaria. Why did you come to The Master’s mansion before beginning your life of adventure?

About me
Hello! I'm Aaron (He/Him), I have been playing D&D for over 10 years and GMing for 5 years. Things to expect from me as a GM: I will work with you 1 on 1 to build and flesh out your character, even if I'm running a one-shot I will include nods to your characters background/backstory and some of our favorite fantasy books and films. I focus on running one-shots, short form campaigns, pickup games, and providing a safe environment for you to play how you want! Almost everything I run is in the Forgotten Realms and beginner friendly so please reach out and may Lady Luck favor you!

Creating your character
For character creation feel free to make what you want from official materials (Don't mix 2014 with 2024), if you need tools to build your character I can provide those. I am also available to one on one help you build if your not used to 5e or just find something confusing. Stats are ether Standard Array or rolled in the Roll20 chat (4D6 drop the lowest). When building a character please do your best to keep me in the loop!!

What Aaron brings to the table
Things to know about me and what i can provide! I'll always have some ambiance going in the background to support vivid storytelling and intense moments. I Prefer RoC (Rule of Cool) over RaW (Rules as Written) and if there is a ruling that takes up to much time discussing I rule in favor of the player for the session until it can be further deliberated about.

How Aaron creates a safe table
During Session 0 we will go over the content of the campaign and discuss Safety Tools and content to be avoided. I will always have a safety deck in the bottom right-hand side of the VTT and you will be able to select which card you need to use and display it on the screen. In the event someone is made uncomfortable, we will pause/go on break while i discuss the issues with those who felt triggered/uncomfortable and find a way to ensure it does not happen again. In the event that someone is immediately feeling unsafe and need to step away from the table, for reasons at the table or IRL, they can with no judgment and no questions asked as i set the expectation that if it is an issue the table that players reach out to me so we can resolve the issue.
