About the adventure
Welcome to the forgotten realms, a land filled with magic and wonder where nations rose and fell through centuries leaving plenty of ruins and unsolved mysteries along the land! A place where monsters and inter dimensional beings threaten civilization on a daily basis. This adventure will take us to the Northern side of the Sword coast to a small newly revitalized town called Phandalin where a trio of explorer/miners - the Rockseeker brothers - have asked for your aid delivering a caravan full of supplies for their newest mining operation. **************************************************************** Now talking on a Meta level, This canpaign will start with our heroes at 1st level and will end at 12th so expect a long term campaign with this adventure. Speaking of witch, for the sake of the narrative and to not include fantasy racism (the tipical "good goblin is dead goblin") some small tweaks have been made to the published adventure. My main focus at the table is to provide a safe space for everyone to have a fun time. If you are into roleplaying and tactical combat this is the game for you!

About me
My name is Mel, i'm Queer DM with over five years of experience running D&D 5e and more recently PF2e. I aboslutely love this hobby and put a lot of efford into it and would love to try out this on-line plataform. In general terms i prefer using Discord for comunications ans Foundry VTT for on-line games. I've DMd several games in English, Portuguese(Br) and Spanish including a long term 2 year long homebrewed canpaign.

Creating your character
For this adventure we will have a free session 0 Where we'll get to know each other a little bit and talk about what we want for our characters narratively and flavor wise. If you are new and need help putting your character together, I’ll gladly help with that. Also, some considerations: * You can make your sheet in D&D beyond or in our Foundry server * This adventure will begin at 1st level using the 2024 rules for D&D 5e. * All official sources for character creation are automatically accepted but if you want to use a homebrew class or species, we can talk about it and figure out if it could work prior to the session. * We will use the standard array our point buy for initial stats. * Backstory wise I’d advice writing a paragraph or two about who your character is and what they want. just keep in mind that something has drawn you to Phandalin and more specifically, something has drawn you to take this job (escorting a caravan from Neverwinter to Phandalin) * For character art/tokens we will be using Heroforge (you don't need to have a premium account) *Any other questions i can answer in our Discord server.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
For this adventure we will be using FoundryVTT and Discord for comunication so you will need to have a Discord account, a decent Mic and acces to the internet in order to play.

After initial set-up, ill post a note on Discord listing lines and veils for each player. We will be using the N,X and O cards system. At the end of session, we will have a moment to decompress and talk about how the game made us feel.
