About the adventure
This is a roleplay heavy high fantasy adventure set in the world of Farrlind, many ages before adventuring became a norm. In this game, you will be fighting against the current overlords of the world, rising up from the ashes. There will be themes of rebellion, war, and oppression throughout, as well as minor themes of abuse of power and PTSD. Even still, there will be plenty of time for levity and comedy.

About me
Hey there! I'm Timothy and I've been dming for the better part of the last decade. I build expansive worlds where players can be whoever they want to be. I can run homebrew or official content, but either way I will work with the players to make their vision for their characters come through.

Creating your character
We will be using the Standard Array system for statistics. As listed, we will be starting at level 3. Artificer and third-party classes are sadly banned outright for this particular adventures, however third-party subclasses can be used if you get my explicit permission. Should it be necessary, we may have a session 0 in order to better build our characters as a group rather than individually.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
We will be using Discord for communication and D&D Beyond for character creation
What Timothy Gustafson brings to the table
I will provide the books for character creation on DDB. On top of that, I will likely be using a music bot on Discord for ambience if I'm able. I tend to run more lax, so do not worry too much about the rules as written, as many times I will go against them.
Homebrew rules
Drinking potions as bonus actions, flanking, modified exhaustion rules

How Timothy Gustafson creates a safe table
We will be going over the world and themes in session 0, making sure everyone is comfortable with the major themes. I'll also be having everyone fill out a consent checklist so that I know if any lines shouldn't be crossed.
