About the adventure
Whether you were born here or you were brought here by a divine entity, Freumh needs your help. At any given moment, elemental forces from other planes are directly connected to this planar crossroads. Cities floating in the sky, schools suspended over a maelstrom or even buried mountains, this world has wonder and trials for any willing to face them. Deities exist, but some are missing. Some are up to their old tricks such as Tiamat trying to escape Avernus and invade Freumh. Tyr, working with heroes and other gods looks to bring balance across this crossroads plane so that a peace can be found and maintained. Can you save this world and figure out its mysteries, or will the plane succumb to forces greater than the gods themselves?

About me
I've been playing TTRPGs for almost 20 years and have been DMing for about 7 years. I have a passion in building worlds and then seeing how they grow with players. While I love homebrew, I also enjoy the occasional one shots or book lead campaigns. I specialize in D&D 5e, but have some experience with Daggerheart and Vampire: The Masquerade. I have a a good memory for rules and lore while encouraging crazy ideas in the process! I look to run games centered around my homebrew, but also will be running things involving The Crooked Moon, The Lord of the Rings, and other expanded projects. New players can find a place here learning the rules and enjoying a balanced story. Experienced players may learn something as well, but still find challenges where they weren't expected. I squash player to player toxicity (you can be toxic to NPCs as needed) and don't allow hate against other players, races, values, etc.

Creating your character
Starting at level 1 Point buy stats Backstories encouraged for personalized quests An approved uncommon item allowed with character creation I prefer to have characters made using D&D Beyond. You can create your characters with almost any race and subclass. I will want to review the characters and may put restrictions on certain abilities if I feel like it could ruin the game. (Looking at you Aarokocra) You can also ask for help in character creation and can be done during a session zero.

What Adam Awe brings to the table
I like to have ambient music playing for the mood and I will try to do voices as well. Never be afraid to ask questions about rules or what you can do! No idea is too dumb, but not all ideas will be an automatic "yes"
Homebrew rules
For critical hits, I like to make them count! So when rolling a critical, roll like normal and then add the maximum amount from the dice that you would have rolled second. Potions can be drank on bonus actions. Healing potions will roll for the value on bonus actions or be the full amount on an action

Let's have a session zero! We will cover what to expect there and what to avoid based on each player. If you aren't comfortable saying it out loud, message me directly and I will avoid such topics. If you see a topic come up in real time either say something out loud or message me privately to get away from said topic. There will be very general quality of life rules such as no toxicity overall, no racial or hateful speech/slurs. If someone is bothering you, please let me know and I can address it as needed.
