About the adventure
The Dragon Age TTRPG setting is a fun way to play your favorite video game on table top and only requires 3d6 for everything, but with it comes a host of interesting and creative choices for everyone! This game is set in a default world for fans and takes place 5 years after the events of Dragon Age Inquisition and was made without any influence of the upcoming 4th installment, meaning this game fully opens up for you to play YOUR Dragon Age adventure. Meet larger than life NPCs that can become friends, mentors, or romantic partners. Dive into a few dwarven strongholds and dunegons, and face a great conspiracy that threatens to destroy Thedas once and for all- or at least the very world they call home.

About me
Hello there! Do you want humor between friends? Action right out of a movie or novel? Great Soundtracks to score the combat, drama, ambiance? Do you want a game with friends that feels like a game with friends...meets the bad ass movie we're all starring in? That's me, I'm that GM/DM! I love creating a game and crafting the story with the players as we all share laughs, dramatic moments, awesome combat and an overall cinematic kick butt experience! Experienced in many years of TTRPG's, voice acting, writing, and even streaming actual plays I love running games where we all get to be heroic, silly, sometime chaotic and leave the table having the best experience! No matter the system!
View Profile →Character creation
Creating your character
The character creation process will happen in a session zero together as we all make sure to approve backstories and concepts/themes that fit the world of Dragon Age and more importantly the kind of group we want to play with in this dark and gritty fantasy world. Beyond that we will go over the rules, make characters, and work on the long term goals for character development. Safety tools and romance RP boundaries and expectations will be discussed as a group and with the safety consent sheet.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
If the players were already big fans of the franchise that would be the perfect way to start. Get excited, get into the lore as well as the video games and have a solid concept of a character that would fit into the video game. Deeper lore is not necessary. Also get the core rulebook so that we can discuss the rules and character creation.
What PJ Megaw brings to the table
Images, music, dice, and core rulebook as well as a tracker for interactions with NPC's to give the full experience the video games offer, but for your table top pleasure!
Homebrew rules
We will be adjusting the subclasses to allow for more subclasses. If you wish to invest in romantic roleplay there is a fun interactive system to engage with. Theater of the mind will have us working loosely on distance. Starting as a Grey Warden is optional but could be lethal.

How PJ Megaw creates a safe table
We will be issuing a statement about some of the themes and social issues in the Dragon Age lore and franchise, if you are not a fan and/or not comfortable with these themes then it may be best to try another game! Also we will be using consent forms with these things in mind, as well as lines and veils. Since roleplay and Romantic NPC's are a feature there will be some check ins at the table and bleed will be double checked on.
