About the adventure
A drowned giant has washed ashore the city of Aniti, the closest settlement to the Mariana Trench; its mythic presence calls to all adventurers, scientists, and occultists of the world. What mysteries will you uncover? Will you be brave enough to face the depths themselves, or will you join them in their mad frenzy? Dive with me as you uncover the mysteries of an underwater world beyond human comprehension; after all, humanity has but explored 5% of the ocean, and its secrets run as old as time immemorial. This campaign will be a talassofobia/megalophobia exploration, with steampunk and hydropunk themes and motifs, expect a LOT of underwater explorations, inspired by themes as displayed in "The Shadow Over Insmouth", "Dagon", "Dishonored", "Moby Dick", "Bioshock" and many others! We will be using the Call of Cthulhu system and its core ruleset. Looking for players into roleplay, slow-burn horror, and exploration.

About me
Hello, I'm John Richard a Brazilian/American GM, with a couple years of experience, be it in videomaking, video-editing, screenwriting and fotography. I love creating stories and currently am a player on two tables, one of GoT,one of Ordem Paranormal (Youtuber Cellbit's system based on Tormenta). I also am a GM for ordem paranormal, Dnd and Seven Candles. Gming is the most fun I ever had and the prospect of making a living out of it fills me with hope as it is something I trully love to do!

Creating your character
We will create your characters during your free session 0 using the base Call of Cthullu game and parameters, we'll use pre prepared values for the stats and whatever fits in your inventory and makes sense for your backstory for items. If anyone has suggestions on different methods, we can go over them during session zero.

What John R. R. Knaus (Dado Sangrento) brings to the table
I will be providing character art, maps, ambient music, and maybe some animations for cool cinematic reveals. Expect me to not stick 100% to the rules; your creativity matters much more (rule of cool), and expect the combat to be challenging but not combo-oriented.
