I strive to integrate character arcs into the narrative. There is scope to tackle things on the island outside of the megadungeon. Creating your character
Characters will be created in a D&D Beyond campaign and then ported to Foundry VTT. The party will start the adventure at level 1 with point buy and regular starting equipment. We will be using the D&D 2024 Rules. To keep things simple, please try to follow the official 2024 rules for player character options. Other sources will be considered on a case-by-case basis, but feel free to run your idea by me.

What to expect
Preparing for the session
🎮 If you don't already, you will need free Discord, D&D Beyond and Sqyre.app accounts. Nothing needs to be purchased. 🎙️ A good mic and headset are recommended for voice communication on Discord. 🎲 A browser plugin called Beyond20 can be used to send your D&D Beyond rolls to Foundry. 🔉 You will receive a link to the Discord Server beforehand, where you can find the rest of the set-up information. 🧑 Please send me any pictures of your character ahead of time so that tokens can be created. ✍️ A half-page character backstory with character motivations and goals would be nice, but is not mandatory.

In the FREE Session Zero, we will: - Go over some content disclaimers - Go over some of the major gameplay and introductory lore beats - Help with character creation, if needed - Go over character creation rules and assistance if needed - Get familiarized with my instance of Foundry VTT - A practice combat encounter to test your character I am open to receiving lines, veils and cards digitally to my DMs before the game and at any point, and publicly at session zero if you are comfortable with that. I will accept feedback after sessions, and you can either let the group know publicly or DM me privately afterwards.
